(#5311442) Re: Competition no 16: Write a poem with a made-up word as the title and beginning each verse

Not quite.

Crove should be the first word in the in each stanza of the poem which should have least three stanzas, each beginning with your made-up word.

i.e.

1st Stanza
Crove on my head etc
2nd line
3rd
4th
5th etc
(up to eight lines)

2nd stanza
Crove blah blah blah
2nd line
3rd (however many lines you want to be in this stanza)

3rd stanza
Crove blah blah blah
2nd line
3rd etc... etc...

You could up to three more stanzas, as the rules said between 3-6 stanzas.

Have a look at my example and Spades Master's. You will see that I have done three or four stanzas each beginning with my made up word, as has Spades Master.

Also you should not use the word "The" in front of your word at the start of your stanza "Crove" should be the first word of each stanza. If "Crove above my eyes starts to go up" were the start of the 2nd stanza (so you would need a break after the word "pass" - you would then need to add at least one more stanza beginning with the word "Crove".

A stanza can be one line: I did not stipulate a minimum line count per stanza; but I did say a maximum of eight lines per stanza. If that were to be a complete eight-line stanza, you would then need to add at least two more, but the stanzas do not have to be of equal length.
