(#5306474) Winner's Competition no 14 MM David littlefair XI
Posted by HeatherN on 16 Nov 2021 at 10:19AM
Entry by PM only

This competition is an anniversary-themed puzzle/quiz - and all the answers can be found in MM David littlefair XI's poem.

Here it is once again - the questions and clues are below the poem.

Happy Anniversary

My beloved sweetheart you are my love
And all my heart sings in a Crove.
It has a name on it which is you
I am one of the perfect Dou

Each answer to the questions can be found a different line of the poem - but not in the order of the questions.

1. One line contains the name of the sweetheart recipient of the card - her name is an anagram of three adjacent words within that line.

What is her name?

2. One line contains the number of years they have been married (the number of vowels in that line is the number of years they have been married) - Hint: This should help with question 3, or vice versa

How many years have they been married?

3. Another line contains the name of the anniversary backwards within the line (spanning two words) - e.g. if the anniversary was "golden" it could be found backwards within the words "Pla*ned_log*s". (Hint: the answer to this question links with Question 2)

What is the name of the anniversary the couple are celebrating?

4. The remaining line contains (twice) the month in which they were married with one letter missing.

In which month were they married?

As there is more than one question, and you might not get them all right. please message me with your answers. The first all-correct answer will win a 21st Anniversary token (or equivalent if you have them all).

If you have any questions, please message me.
