We would like to say

1. What brought you to GoldToken, and how'd you choose your name for GT?
- Back in 2004, I had been playing chess
on some game site. Some site friends and I decided to look for another game site (for reasons that I do not remember). We discovered GoldToken and it has been my home ever since. I play games nowhere else.
- My name is Ray and I had been using Ray of Light as my username on many websites, so it was a natural for me to use it here as well.
2. What interests you most on GT? Do you have a favorite game?
- My absolute favourite games are the chess variants. I love them so much that I even coded some for the site back when I was volunteering as a programmer. My contributions are the following games: Three Check Chess; Benedict Chess; Dice Chess; Fischer Random Chess; Recycle Chess. (unknown photo) I also enjoy many of the games with random elements such as card games (unknown photo) and dice games. (unknown photo)
3. What state or country do you reside in? What do you think tourists should definitely see?
- I am a native of Montreal, Quebec, Canada. For the past four years, I have been living on the west coast in Victoria, British Columbia, Canada. I live one block from the ocean
and I love the micro-climate that Victoria offers.
4. What hobbies do you have?
- I love reading non-fiction books,
coding my own projects, 
watching educational videos online, and playing games on GT (of course). 
5. Children? Grandchildren?
- Neither.
6. Do you work? What kind of work do/did you do?
- I work part-time as a software engineer for a Montreal-based company. Obviously, I work from home.
7. Any pets?
- Unfortunately, no. The apartment where I live does not allow pets. I would have loved to have adopted a pet during the past two years for emotional support.
8. Are you under 30?___ 30 to 50? ___ or over 50? Male or Female?
- I am a male.
I have been around the sun more than 50 times but less than 60 times.
9. Favorite food?
- My absolute favourite food is pizza.
I also love Thai food.
10. What's the farthest you've been from home?
- Back in the late '90s, in the early part of my career as a computer programmer,
I spent 10 weeks working onsite at a pulp & paper mill in Indonesia. This was a great experience, not only as a professional programmer who had to make everything work, but also being able to experience the warmth and hospitality of my Indonesian hosts. I have only fond memories of my experience.
11. If you could be anywhere right now, where would that be?
- I would be on an elephant reserve in north-western Thailand volunteering to work with those beautiful animals. This is entry number 1 on my bucket list.
12. Favorite season?
13. Favorite movie? Favorite TV show?
- My favourite movie by far is "The Lord of the Rings" trilogy. I try to visit Middle Earth every winter.
14. If you could meet anyone (living or dead) in the world, who would it be?
- I would love to have been able to spend an afternoon with Robin Williams.
