- Past Issues of GoldToken's Monthly Newsletter
Did you know that you can go back and read old issues of the newsletter? The first edition was posted in January of 2005. It's fun to go back and see what was happening in years past. I was just checking out the March, 2014, issue and I was shocked to see things that happened 10 years ago but seem like they happened much more recently! The link is at the bottom of every newsletter: [
Main: GoldToken's Monthly Newsletter - Past Issues ].
Wishing you much luck and tons of fun!

Please post your selected craft pictures by

Our Pony Up players all posted their own personal valentine on the board and, while we had one special winner, ALL who entered won a Pony Up token! There were many heart touching valentines created.
The Pony Up board also had players guessing how many M&M's were in a jar, with one player almost hitting the nail on the head,

so to speak.
Mignon came within

We would like to say

to
Pepper for letting us step into their personal life for a bit.
1. How'd you choose your name for GT?
- Many years ago I won a "Jackpot" on a "Double Pepper" Slot Machine, shortly after that I joined GoldToken and became Pepper
2. What interests you most on GT? Do you have a favorite game?
- The variety of games, club tournaments, meeting people from different places and making lasting friendships
with most. GT is my home away from home.
- I like so many of the games it would be easier to ask what I don't like
that would be "chess"
my favorites right now are Tic Tac Stack
and Hypergammon.
3. What state or country do you reside in? What do you think tourists should definitely see?
- My home is Massachusetts, I've lived there since I was five, and in the same house!!
- The City of Boston is about 1/2 hour away. There you will find many interesting things to see. Faneuil Hall for one, really good places to dine
with views of the Ocean
and the big ships coming and going.
4. What hobbies do you have?
- Making moves at GT is my favorite (unknown photo), I enjoy doing 1000 piece puzzles, enjoy playing my cd's while playing at GT, soft rock mostly, but I do like drums!!!
- Not one for crocheting, knitting or sewing of any kind. My motto has always been if you can pin it you can save it!!! Cooking, not so great at that (unknown photo)
5. Children? Grandchildren?
- I now have 2 beautiful daughters,

both married, doing well and I see them often. Stopped driving about 5 years ago, but my girls take me to appts etc
- Four grandchildren: 2 Girls,

one is a 4th grade school teacher,
the other an RN
in the Emergency room, so proud of both of them
. One grandson,
will be 21 this coming June, he works in demolition,
that helps him keep out of trouble
6. Do you work? What kind of work do/did you do?
7. Any pets?
- No, but I go play with my 4-legged grandpuppy a lot
8. Are you under 30?___ 30 to 50? ___ or over 50? Male or Female?
- Over 50
9. Favorite food?
- Besides (unknown photo), I'd have to say Prime Rib and Pasta
10. What's the farthest you've been from home?
11. If you could be anywhere right now where would that be?
- Las Vegas
12. Favorite season?
- Spring

13. Favorite movie?
14. If you could meet anyone (living or dead) in the world, who would it be?
- Adam Lambert (living). My dad, he died when I was only 19
If there are any questions you would like to see asked in future interviews, please let us know.

| Testimonial Of The Month |
| Brought to you by: *GoldToken* Players |
I heard about GoldToken many, many years ago by chatting to others in games. Like many, I was playing at www.itsyourturn.com, which had been about a while.
A few of us from those days started playing here due to the different choices of games, about 20 years ago I guess. Around that time another new site had started (brainking.com) which was growing fast. I preferred how clean & easy to negotiate it was & the owner was open to all sorts of new ideas. I spent a lot of my time playing there, helping out & trying to help improve it until a couple of years ago, when the site owner lost interest and nothing was happening to it.
A good friend of mine from there suggested coming back to GT, where he played a lot, so I returned. Many games have been added since I last played here, It's great to see.
My favourites are Cribbage & its variants, Reversi, Boats and Lines of Action & its variants, but I enjoy most games & will give anything a try, but being from the U.K., I stay away from word games here, I guess it's the dictionary lol. (side note: would love to see Amazons here). I am only in a couple of clubs, but do try to play in the Olympics.
Due to work commitments I can never guarantee when I will be on here though, but I do try at least once a day and am always up for a chat.
Regards
Mad_Monkey (Ian)
March's Contest of the Month challenges you to design the
Best Club Banner! The winning banner will be given one full year to run! All entries will rotate with the other banners on top of player game sheets for 30 days from the day they are added to the system. The entry deadline is March 27th. A site wide poll will be posted for voting on March 28th. To enter, post a new, never before seen 800x90 or 200x200 pixel club banner on the
Club Presidents DB along with the club number.
All top banners
must be exactly 90 pixels high so the page does not bump up and down as each page loads.
Having trouble creating your own banners or lack a photo editing program? Try one of the free services on the net that offers free banner creation. Free banners created using these systems can be incredible and very professional. Here are a couple links to sites that provide this service, however, you you might wish to find others more suited to your taste and abilities by Googling "Free Banners".

Then it is just a matter of uploading your banner to your accounts Banner system.
