You are invited to play in GoldToken’s premier summer tournament, the 2023 Summer Olympic Games!
This is a set of automated tournaments pitting player against player and team against team.
Each player chooses which game types to play and how many games to play.
If interested, please join The
GoldToken's Olympics Master Club! Click the link and look for the "invitations" box on the right-hand side of your screen, then click "yes" to join. If on a mobile device, scroll to the bottom of the screen and click “yes” to join. That's all you need to do to declare your desire to play - no need to send a PM or post a message on the discussion board. Please stay in the Master Club until the games begin.
Note: If you have joined the club in the past, you will need to re-join. The club is emptied prior to each new Olympics set-up.
Team assignments will be made in the coming weeks, and you'll be invited to join your specific team's club then. At that time, you will be able to sign up for the games you wish to play. Players can sign up for as few or as many games as they care to, subject to membership restrictions. Games are planned to start the first week in July.

One of GoldToken's favorite Discussion Boards,
Polls, now has a new format, in addition to the regular poll posted every week.
The format is as follows:
1) Starting in June, 2023, there will be a poll at the end of each month.
This poll will list all the polls used that month that were submitted by players, with the exception of any by authors that have won this contest in the past.
2) Each poll used will be listed, even if multiple polls used are submitted by the same person, with the exception of any player who has won before.
3) Each poll listed would have to be an original, never before used, poll. Reworded polls will not qualify.
4) Poll entered must have question AND ANSWERS in the submission, or it doesn't qualify.
5) Submissions will be counted for this poll in the month they are USED. Therefore, If you submit in June and it's used in August, it will be included in the August poll.
So turn in those poll suggestions to the

May's winner is:
Breakfast Cheese Danish
Ingredients:
2 cans ready to use refrigerated crescent rolls
2 8-oz pkg. cream cheese
1 cup sugar
1 tsp vanilla extract
1 egg
1 egg white
For the glaze:
1/2 cup powered sugar
2 tbsp milk
1/2 tsp vanilla extract
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350° F and grease a 13 x 9 inch baking pan
Lay a pack of crescent rolls in the pan
Beat the cream cheese, sugar, vanilla and egg together until smooth
Spread the mixture over the crescent rolls evenly and then lay the second pack of crescent rolls on top of the cheese mixture and brush with egg white
Bake for 35-45 minutes until the top is golden brown
Top with Glaze after cooling for 20 minutes

I came to GoldToken in 2006 after another game site I was on began having problems and someone suggested GoldToken as a good alternative. It turned out to be a GREAT site. It’s one of the very few sites I still play. I’ve always had “friends with paws” and am fortunate to live close to the beach and work just a block from the Gulf of Mexico, thus my game name of SandyPaws.
I like turn-based games and love the variety of games at GT. I’m also very happy with the chat option. I am often quiet except for a “good luck, have fun” greeting, but there are times when I am so glad to have met people that I feel I know from our discussions. I’ve even traveled around the state a bit and have met some GT folks in person. The clubs (I belong to more than I probably should) and the discussion forums are really nicely done. I like everything about GoldToken and appreciate the continual improvements and new games.
Working and volunteering at a church on Anna Maria Island (a vacationer’s paradise and, yes, right on the beach – a tough job location) takes up a large amount of my time, but when I have spare time I like walking on the beach, reading, and helping my friends with their computer questions.
My family today consists of me, my son, and a variety of squirrels who live in the backyard and demand we keep them in fresh water, with a few nuts on the side. They tell me I have to do this because they are related to GT’s squirrels and if I want good rolls…. 😊
