You are invited to play in GoldToken’s premier summer tournament, the 2021 Summer Olympic Games! It's a set of automated tournaments, pitting player against player and club against club.

GoldToken's Olympics Master Club! Click the link and look for the "invitations" box on the right-hand side of your screen, then click "yes" to join. If on a mobile device, scroll to the bottom of the screen and click “yes” to join. That's all you need to do to declare your desire to play - no need to send a PM or post a message on the discussion board. Please stay in the club until the games begin.
Note: If you have joined the club in the past, you will need to re-join. The club is emptied after each Olympics.
Team assignments will be made soon, and you'll be invited to join your specific team's club then. At that time, you will be able to sign up for the games you wish to play. Players can sign up for as few or as many games as they care to. The first batch of games will begin in July.

- Jest for Puns - Two antennas met on a roof, fell in love and got married. The ceremony wasn't much, but the reception was excellent.
Ever hear a great pun you wish you'd thought of or actually came up with one yourself? Everyone loves puns and the best place to find them is on this board. Every week the prior winner decides on a subject and players add their favorite puns regarding the subject. Voting,
by players, determines the winner who then receives a Jest for Puns token. So check it out and get some laughs!
- The Golden Thread - Whatever your prayer need, finding peace of mind provides a foundation of strength to face any situation. For those who are looking for a place to post prayer requests, finding comfort by doing so, there is a board for you, recently added, to GoldToken. This two-player game is won by the player whose track forms a loop or a line either during that player's completed turn or during an opponent's completed turn in which the opponent's track does not also form a loop or a line. A loop is a continuous path of track that connects with itself. A line is a continuous path of track that connects opposite and outermost edges of the tiles in play, over at least 8 rows of tiles, across or down. For more info, check out the

Potato Salad
Ingredients
2 lb. new potatoes
1/2 c. fresh chives, chopped
1/3 c. olive oil
2 tbsp. white wine vinegar
1 tsp. Dijon mustard
Kosher salt and black pepper
2 tbsp. fresh flat-leaf parsley, chopped
Instructions
Simmer potatoes in salted water until just tender; run under cold water to cool. Cut into quarters. Puree chives, olive oil, white wine vinegar, Dijon mustard, and kosher salt and black pepper in a blender until smooth. Add sauce flat-leaf parsley to potatoes and toss to combine.

1. What brought you to GoldToken, and how'd you choose your name for GT?
- A former coworker suggested Gold Token. I chose my name based on where I live.
2. What interests you most on GT? Do you have a favorite game?
- My favorite games are cribbage and grabble.
3. What state or country do you reside in? What do you think tourists should definitely see?
- I live in Rhode Island. Tourists should see the beaches
here and also Newport is a beautiful city.
4. What hobbies do you have?
- My hobbies are reading,
walking, 
biking 
and of course Gold Token.

- 3 daughters,
1 granddaughter, 
5 grandsons, 
and 1 great granddaughter.

- I am retired but delivered mail for 30 years. I now have 3 volunteer jobs that keep me quite busy. I teach ESL, which is my favorite one.

- One rescue dog named Phoebe and she is the love of my life.

- Over 50 and female
9. What's the farthest you've been from home?
- I have been to Finland and Sweden many many years ago. Beautiful country.

- If I could be anywhere, it would be Beaufort, South Carolina.

- That's a tough one. Either spring

- I would love to meet the rest of my siblings who I have not met yet. I was adopted and have met 3 out of 7 of them.

I think that I was playing on It's Your Turn and I was chatting and my opponent said that I should check out GoldToken. I like chess, backgammon, checkers, and salvo.
