The
Jools' Contest Announcements board had a very busy January with 2 New Year contests, and lots of players won amazing tokens for their profile and I learnt lots of interesting facts about how the New Year is celebrated.
The
Life Hacks discussion board was also busy with players posting their recycling hacks. I again learnt lots of new information about this topic and I look forward to learning more hacks as the year goes on - the new tokens for the Hacks Board really are wonderful and I urge you to post some hacks so you can win one (or more) for your profile. From the 10th of February through to the 17th there will be the chance to win a special Valentine Token so keep an eye on the board for that!
My advice for this month is about positivity and self care and I think this is a good way to help with that: at the end of each day I write a short note of 3 things that I was glad or happy about....it could be something as simple as talking to my neighbour or spending time with my cats - all 6 of them! - I think it's a lovely way to end the day and really takes very little time...I'm keeping my notes in an empty (of course!) coffee jar and if I need a reminder of something good/positive I can take a look at the notes - so get an empty coffee jar and start filling it with those positive notes!

No Bake Chocolate Peanut Butter Bars
** Submitted by Silkwood
Ingredients
1/2 cup butter, melted*
1 cup graham cracker crumbs (about 8 full sheet graham crackers)*
2 cups confectioners’ sugar
1 cup + 2 Tablespoons creamy peanut butter, divided
1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
Instructions
Line an 8×8 or 9×9 inch square baking pan with aluminum foil or parchment paper. Set aside.
Mix the melted butter, graham cracker crumbs, and confectioners’ sugar together in a medium bowl. Stir in 1 cup of peanut butter, then press evenly into prepared baking pan.
Melt remaining 2 Tablespoons of peanut butter with the chocolate chips in the microwave or on the stove. Stir until smooth. Spread over peanut butter layer.
Chill in the refrigerator until completely firm, at least 2 hours. Allow to sit at room temperature for 10 minutes before cutting. Serve chilled. Setting them out for a few hours at room temperature for serving is OK.
Cover leftover bars tightly and refrigerate for up to 1 week.

Backgammon site found it on search engine. Fieryvelvet was the colour of a nail polish I used.
