I'm not even sure where July went! I blinked and it was gone. I visited my mom, I went to see a friend I hadn't seen in 30 years, and I hung out with my son. Today was the first day back to work after summer break. I hope you've been busy with good things, too!

After the success of the Patchwork pictures on the Crafters fair board last month, I have decided to try another theme in August.
Let's see if we can get a few more posts in August.

- I wanted something that would stand out.
2. What interests you most on GT? Do you have a favorite game?
- I like the laid back feeling of GT. Everyone is so chill. My favorite game is definitely backgammon.

- I’m from Oahu, Hawaii. We are known for our beautiful beaches.

So I was introduced to Goldtoken by my late brother Brian. We were avid Backgammon players and he thought I would enjoy playing here. Since we lived in separate states it gave us a chance to play on a regular basis. I joined in 2003 and he introduced me to another player here Renekins , who he played backgammon with. We are still friends today and play and chat daily. I really appreciate the sense of community here and have met a lot of amazing people. I run my own club and enjoy being part of the other great clubs here. I was also asked to help contribute graphics to the site, and that is a lot of fun for me. I continue to enjoy playing here on a daily basis.

Best Nugget
August's contest is the
Best Nugget submitted throughout the month. All entries will be posted in a poll for voting, and the winner will be announced in next month's newsletter.
Winner will receive two extra months on their current membership, or, if Guest, a two-month Silver membership.
Nuggets articles give all the players an opportunity to write various tutorials, strategy guides, and other materials related to playing each of our many games, as well as general information about out various site features. Once approved, the new Nugget article will be added to the appropriate category for all the players to see.
Searching and sorting functionality is also available, allowing you to easily find what you are looking for.
Guest and Wood level players can submit one Nugget per month. Players with a Silver membership or higher can submit as many articles as they want.
When submitting articles, please be sure to only submit content that you have written yourself, or that you have a permission from its author to post here. Citations and links are obviously fine, as long as they do not lead to inappropriate content.
