- Paraprosdokian Sentences - Who knows what a paraprosdokian sentence is? I certainly had never heard of one, or so I thought. A paraprosdokian (para) sentence is A figure of speech where the last part of the sentence or phrase has a surprising or unexpected ending. These sentences can be lots of fun as the host starts out the first part of the sentence and players enter their made up entry by replying with their ending part of the sentence and making us laugh. For example..Life is Like a Hot Fudge Sundae....you always find some nuts!

March's winner is:
Pot Roast
1 2-3 lb chuck roast
8 small red potatoes
1 cut in half onion
1/2 lb baby carrots
3 stalks of celery cut in 1 inch pieces
tablespoon of granulated garlic
1 bay leaf
Salt n Pepper to taste
2 tablespoons of Extra Virgin Olive oil.
Enough water to cover the roast plus more after putting in the veggies
Loaf of French bread or any loaf bread you desire
6 quart Dutch oven
Instructions
Take chuck roast and wash it (I always wash my meats) season the roast with the garlic and salt and pepper, turn stove on and heat up dutch oven and add the Olive oil. Place roast in heated dutch oven and brown all sides (even the side parts) add water to cover plus.. add the bay leaf, and bring to a boil, being careful to skim off the "foam" from the top of the water. (believe this is the fat from the meat) Lower the temperature to a medium simmer cover loosely and cook for 1 hour, being careful that the liquid does not lessen. Than add the potatoes, onion, carrots and celery and simmer for another 45 minutes till the potatoes are done but not falling apart. Keeping it covered loosely. After all is done remove the roast from the pot and also the veggies into a bowl. slice the roast into 1/4 inch slices and place on a serving dish with the veggies around it. Slice the loaf of bread and put it in a basket. Serve and enjoy!

We would like to say

1. What brought you to GoldToken, and how'd you choose your name for GT?
- My sister brought me here - Ladygoodwrench - she plays on GT also - I had been playing live games and those sites had kinda gone south - no one played anymore or they just disbanded altogether. So I asked her
where she played her Cribbage games. I signed up that night and I've played here almost every day since then. 
2. What interests you most on GT? Do you have a favorite game?
- I love the variety of games - some are as simple as when we were kids - to some that make you think !!
- I play Cribbage mainly -- but I do like other games as well, Tabula, Acey Deucey, to Rock Paper Scissors
No Chess please 
.. LOL too much thinking there !!
3. What state or country do you reside in? What do you think tourists should definitely see?
- I live in Nashville Tennessee - and we are very much a tourist town ! Music used to be everywhere
-- downtown was happening !! then Covid.
We are slowly getting back to having tourists coming back 
-- as most of the country is opening up little by little. So come on to Nashville !! Lots to see and do here …
4. What hobbies do you have? _
- Don't have any hobbies really -- but I do like to travel and I have a bucket list yet to check off !!
Ask me where I've been - or tell me where you're from and I may have been there. Too many to list here .. LOL
5. Children? Grandchildren?
- I have 3 grown children - all girls.
Heather in Illinois with 2 boys Andrew 15 and Colin 14. 
Courtney in Montana with 4 children. Emma 15 Landin 12, Zoey 6 and Isabella 1 1/2 -- 
Kayla in Missouri with 3 children - Kaelyn 14, Levi 10 and Audrey 6.

6. Do you work? What kind of work do/did you do?
- I work for VF Workwear here at HQ in Nashville - we manufacture uniforms of all kinds.
I personally work in Customer Support - with National Accounts. So I take care of the big guys, making sure they are happy. I've been there going on 25yrs, and I can say I absolutely love my job and the company I work for. 
7. Any pets?
- I have 1 cat
- Scarlett. She's a rescue kitty and have had her about 2 years now. (unknown photo)
8. Are you under 30?___ 30 to 50? ___ or over 50? Male or Female?
- I'm over 50 and female.
9. What's the farthest you've been from home?
I've been to many places in Europe - so the farthest I would say would be Munich, Germany. I was in the Navy right out of high school 
- and I did some traveling while I had the chance.

10. If you could be anywhere right now, where would that be?
- Colorado - I'm from there originally and my mother
lives there still in Pueblo.
11. Favorite season?
- It's a toss up between Spring and Fall -
I love the warming up of Spring from a cold winter 
-- and then the color changes in the leaves in the Fall. 
12. Favorite movie? Favorite TV show?
- Top Gun ( obviously being in the Navy ) The Rose with Bette Midler ( an oldie but ohhh so good ) Legends of the Fall, and I think this is my all time favorite - Dances with Wolves.
13. If you could meet anyone (living or dead) in the world, who would it be?
- The Eagles - Glen Frey ( he's gone too soon ) Don Henley , Randy Meisner , Joe Walsh, Timothy Schmidt, Bernie Leadon, and Don Felder. Their music is timeless.
