The answer is: maybe! We LOVE to hear ideas from players for new features, improvements to existing games and features, game variants, etc. However, we do have a schedule for upcoming improvements and additions and it's not always possible to "sneak in" requests here and there, and sometimes things are more complicated than they seem. If you'd like to submit your idea, here's the place to do it: [ Feature requests ]. Post your ideas, and our team will review them when considering new programming tasks!

Best Recipe Contest

January's winner is: Zuppa Toscana

This is my version of my favorite Olive Garden soup...

Ingredients
1 pound ground italian sausage (hot)
1 T. butter
1 medium onion, finely diced
1 clove garlic, minced
1/2 pound bacon, uncooked, cut into small pieces
32oz. chicken broth
32oz. water
6-8 potatoes, washed but unpeeled
1/2 bunch fresh Kale, remove stems, finely chopped
1 cup heavy cream
salt and pepper to taste

Directions
1) in large fry pan, brown the sausage over med-high heat
2) remove sausage from pan, set aside
3) add butter to the sausage grease and lower heat to medium
4) add onions, saute til slightly translucent
5) add garlic, saute for 1 minute more
6) add bacon, continue to cook until bacon is cooked but not crispy, about 3-5 min
7) slowly pour in half of the chicken stock, stirring to deglaze pan and incorporate any browned bits from the bottom of the pan
8) transfer to a large stock pot
9) add in the remaining chicken stock, the water, and the browned sausage
10) bring to a boil over medium heat
11) while the stock is coming to a boil, cut the potatoes in half lengthwise and slice to about 1/2" thick slices
12) add potatoes to pot and cook until just getting tender
13) add in chopped kale, and heavy cream, cook additional 5 minutes or until potatoes are tender
14) season with salt and pepper to taste

serve hot with your favorite breadsticks or garlic bread

Note I also like to sprinkle on a little shredded cheese on top of my bowl.. cause... well... everything is better with cheese

this soup is very easy and quick to make.... I make it regularly for my family and they love it
the first time I served this to my brother, he ate 4 bowls and said "this is the best soup I have ever tasted!"

We would like to say

to RabidWolff of the Wolf Pack for letting us step into their personal life for a bit.

1. What brought you to GoldToken?
I used to play at IYT and a friend there told me about . Once I spent a little time on GT I never went back to IYT. GT is a much more friendly atmosphere, and then when they came up with the idea of clubs that made it so much better!

How'd you choose your name for GT?
I wanted to honor my late grandmother and her maiden name was Wolff, then I just wanted something unique to go with it and decided upon RabidWolff. My The Wolf Pack Club is also named in honor of my grandmother.

2. What interests you most on GT?
Well aside from the games, the answer would definitely have to be the clubs. I live & breathe The Wolf Pack Club. I spend many hours every week just working on the club. We run a lot of tournaments that include postcard tournaments, prize tournaments and our own Wolf Pack Olympics for which I also give prizes for. And The Wolf Pack Club has open invites for anyone that would like to join.

Favorite game here?
Hmmm, hard to single it down to one game. I would have to say Tourne-case, Thematic Hangman, Small Barricade and Mahjong.

3. What State or Country do you reside in?
Connecticut, USA

What in your State do you think tourists should definitely see?
Kent Falls is a beautiful place, but also Mystic Seaport & Aquarium Fish Bowl

4. What hobbies do you have?
Well I used to do a lot of fishing (trout & salmon), but now that I don't get around very well my number one hobby is GT and The Wolf Pack Club.

5. Children? Grandchildren?
I have three grown step-children and one step-grandson.

6. Do you work?
Yes, until I hit the lottery. !

What kind of work do/did you do?
I have spent my entire life working in the grocery business. I work in the corporate office as a DSD Pricing Coordinator for a small chain of stores in three states. What that means is that I maintain all of the pricing $$$$ (sale and regular) of all items in the stores that arrive at the store on something other than company trucks. Examples would be Pepsi, Frito Lay and Wonder bread. (unknown photo)

7. Any pets?
Oh yes! I've always had animals in my life. My current pet is "Boo" my black & white cat. (unknown photo)

8. Are you under 30?___ 30 to 50? ___ or over 50?
Male or Female?
I'm a female over 50

9. What's the farthest you've been from home?
For vacation or for business?
Back when I was in my twenties I traveled to Ireland and England on vacation

10. If you could be anywhere right now where would that be?
My roots run very deep so I'm not sure that I would ever move... but I love the Virginia/Tennessee area.

11. Favorite season?
Spring or Fall, I don't like the extreme temperatures of summer & winter.

12. Favorite movie?
It's hard to name just one. I love The Ten Commandments, The Audie Murphy Story, The Hunt for Red October. There are really many others I could name

Actor?
Again, hard to name just one. I'm going with Denzel Washington and Tom Hanks.

Actress?
Hmmm, I think I'll say Peggy Hyra since we went to school together. What's wrong, don't you know who she is??? Let me give you her stage name... Meg Ryan.

Song?
Wow, I'm country music, and yet my two favorite songs are not country (isn't that strange?) My two favorite songs are "He Ain't Heavy, He's My Brother" and "Hotel California".

13. If you could meet anyone (living and dead) in the world. Who would it be ?
I'm guessing that I'm supposed to name someone that I've never met before... but my answer instead is going to be my late mother. I was very close to my mom and miss her very much, I would love to just be able to spend another day with her.

A friend at IYT told me about GT so I thought I would try it. That was 5 years ago. I wanted a game site that I could make a play when I wanted to and for as long as I wanted to. GT is perfect for that. In the 5 years that I have been here, I have met some wonderful people and consider them good friends although we will probably never meet in person. I was asked a couple of years back to help work in a couple of clubs and since I am retired I thought I could do that. I have since learned how hard the owners of all the clubs work to make games for people to play. Not enough credit is given to them as they spend "countless hours" thinking up new ideas for their clubs to make it more interesting and fun for their members. I love GT and hope to play here for many more years to come.
