You get to choose which ones you want, they just can't be ones you already have. The rules are pretty standard, same as always. If they got a notice to come to this poll board then they are subscribe to at least this board (so that would make 'one') To see if your subscribed to any boards, go to Discussion boards link above (top of page), click, go down the list of Discussion boards, if you see a red check mark in the box, your subscribes.
