We first have to classify the people we talk to! #1-rational-You have about a 50/50 chance of making your point. #2 irrational- little more difficult. They will definitely annoy you! #3 the self effacing -self vindictive person. If they are in the self effacing mode they might give you a hug, where as far as the self vindictive mode, you could bank on an argument! This 3rd' class would be in the area of Neurosis! Then at last we have the poor soul in the manic-depressive Bipolar mode! This would be the 4th.class of people! Psychosis. Do not try to avoid arguing with them and do not tell them to see a Psych. Doctor because then you would get some nasty feedback from them! Bottom Line? Look for some people who are SENSIBLE! There still are some of those folks around! AMEN!!
