I disagree on some of your points. Cutting down on meat does help the environment as it reduces the amount of land being given over to grazing land. Electric cars can take their power from any form of electricity going in to the grid so can be powered by wind and solar amongst others, rather than being reliant on petrol. I agree there are still issues surrounding electric cars but I agree that humanity has the ability to overcome these issues. Just look at the modern internal combustion engine compared that of fifty or sixty years ago.
