Once you said it took 4,6 and 7 spots to fill the circles it became obvious. That should be in the rules.

Many new players seem to think they need to get the whole outside ring.

So for example look at red zone. Red 1 and Red 2 are outer circles both consists of 4 spots to capture. Red 3 is an inner circle consists of 6 spots. Then 7 spots for the centre circle which you need to hold for 1 turn without your opponent taking a spot. You can also win by the usual method of capturing all your opponents armies.

Outer circles are all the ones going around the outside perimeter. The inner circles are the next layer in. The Inner white is the centre and the ones around it.

I haven't played this variety often and I'm confused by the bonuses. What defines the Outer and Inner Circles? Does this include the ones that are just solid color or combintions? Also is the Inner White just the cental one or does it require all the surrounding ones. This is not explaines at all in the rules.
