Recently I am noticing that when I submit my move, the display on the screen shows ALL OF THE BONEYARD along with my remaining bones. I didn't recognize the pattern at first, and ignored it. Then I began to think my score was also being affected by this. Am I crazy, or has anyone else noticed this?

For both of these, we've each played one tile each, but for both games I am being shown an empty boneyard, my TWENTY tiles face-up and my opponent's remaining six tiles face down. (In both cases, my twenty tiles include other instances of the 4 or 6 I needed.)

In this game your previous moves are recorded down the side but there is no grid on the game board showing what these refer to. It would be helpful if a grid could be added to the game board making it much easier to follow.

Hi, According to Tomas (Mecir ) I was mistaken in my post on the bug board, apparently it is indeed possible to modify the Global time-out of started tournaments.

So to offset the damage done by the attacking hacker I asked him to modify the 60 day time-out to 67 days, an extra week should be sufficient to compensate for the annoyance.
Please note:
The modification modifies the 60 day time-out, it has no effect on the regular 3-day time per move.
He did not bother to modify the texts in the tournaments and the games. All I see is that the value mentioned changed from the usual "1 month and 4 weeks" to "2 months". I hope he implemented what I asked, but I can't verify that he did.
this is all new so I'd recommend not to test it by going deliberately over 60 days on the clock.
If you find anomalies, please let me know.

Should these games not have timed out by now?

I saw the error in my ways….I had to start my train first, then play the other tile on the next move if it is still open.

#14727344 in this game, move 216, I am to satisfy a double twelve. I have two tiles with twelve, but the game will only let me play one of the tiles and not the other. What am I missing? Or, drum roll, please. Is this a glitch?

It was a feature request that mecir put in a cuppla months ago. Just a convenient option.

Totally agree, it's not worth playing anymore. My opponent had 78 tiles and was passing on moves. Other sites have a limit on the number of tiles you can hold. That's much fairer. I won't be signing up for anymore rummikub games and the ones I have I'm going to play their tactics back. Can't have a game when nobody moves.

Thanks Jools, I do use Edge on both my Windows laptop and my iPhone/iPad. Both show broken links but at least the laptop shows what the image is supposed to look like. For now I'll make my moves on the laptop. Cleaning the cache and history didn't help.

It may also be a compatability issue, try a different browser. GT used to have issues with edge but I thought they had been resolved.

This sounds like a cache problem.

Periodically clear your cache to allow your browser to function more efficiently. You should clear your cache frequently by performing a "force refresh" of the page's content. Press Ctrl + F5 simultaneously. This will perform a forced refresh of this single page to pull down all new images.

That should take care of the '?' image.

I i’ve just come back from a long hiatus from GT, and I’m trying to play some new rummy cube variations. My problem is all the cards are not showing up. I simply have a blue square with a ? In it. I’m using Edge on my iPad.

I understand people’s frustrations here but I still think this player has a visual impairment and guide dog and that’s how he keeps track of whom to challenge. I haven’t asked but it seems logical. If you don’t play checkers it won’t ever affect you. Check his games And he says he only plays checkers. Try and be a bit understanding. People are entitled to block whoever they want.

That sounds logical to me

I can see the profile. It is a checker player from Ireland and I’ve chatted with this person. I don’t actually know him but seems legitimate. He appears to block anyone who doesn’t play checkers. He has a visual impairment and guide dog. My theory is that is how he tells whom to play. But just a theory.

GoldToken Support has just addressed this in a private message to tquah.

Its like they just randomly blocked a whole lot of people in here, including myself...Automatic games go thru but you can not play a wiki game or a game he even invites you to since he has you blocked.

Maybe I can see the profile because I accepted the game of Checkers. Just saying.............

It's not that they use numbers. It's why don't I have authority to view their profile? Never played them before so no reason to block me either. It's very strange.

I played a game with them. They are using numbers as their name here. I saw player here once they went by the name * and they play plenty of games. I would suggest that you don't accept the game if it makes you uncomfortable. You shouldn't worry too much because having a number instead of a name is no big deal.

When I tried looking up that player I get the same thing. I suspect a fake player. Ignore but hope GT does something about it.

Have you tried changing it in the "Edit my account" from your profile page.
In "Edit my acct" go to Account and change it there. Then hit "Finish" at the bottom of that page.

You gave me the clue! Thank you so much! I needed to have "Desktop Site" box checked in my phone settings for GT to be the double column, as I like. I must have, accidentally, unchecked it. If this happens, again, that's the 1st thing I'll look at. Thank you, again!

I use my phone. I don't have a computer, but you gave me an idea of something to check. Let you know if that worked.

If your on a desk top or laptop.... first make sure someone didn't post something on the gamesheet that is long//big
Also check and make sure the size of your page didn't change (press ctrl while turning the wheel on your mouse)

It's not checked & it's still a single column.

Go to your GAMESHEET
Select PREFERENCES (Listed under My Account in the big yellow box).
Select GAMESHEET
Under the heading CURRENT TIP, make sure the second box "Display the gamesheet in a single column" is NOT checked.

The display on my gamesheet went from double column, the way I like it, to single column. I have tried everything & it won't change back. Can someone, please, help me?

Check the time stamps between the "last move" and the previous and you will find three elapsed days.
The last tiles played were by the Opponent in each case

On The Squares Only 40 Tournament, round 1, section 6, it says pegaleeta lost games 11, 12, and 15 for timing out. I made the last move so how did i time out when it was the other players move?

In dominoes, there is a possibility of a lot of draws. In this you are limited to 3 which means you get to take note each one as you pick up.

It just seems as if the dominoes way is better. I don't see the point of clicking pick up a tile 3 times when it could be done just once.

As there is a maximum of 3 pickups, it doesn't seem that necessary, you would however no if if the last tile picked was playable or not

American Rummikub (50-point) Ladder game #14878134. I have this game with Cindy gal but she has passed away and needs to be removed from the ladder.

I'm not sure if this is the correct board to post this on, but I was just wondering why you have to pick up 1 TrioTile at a time when in Dominoes it just picks up the required amount of bones at once.

Surely TrioTiles would benefit from a Dominoes-style pick up function, does anyone else agree?

I've seen other tournaments where the same player has got a bye almost every round

In the tournament https://www.goldtoken.com/games/tournaments?st=182125 Why does Acedog who was =16th / 29 players get a token ?, If it is because he got a bye in the last round then the coding needs to be changed.
