It’s me again, Audrey
A princess who sings.
(You’re just like my diary,
I can say anything.)

So, keep this hush-hush;
No one must hear,
How I single-handedly
Spread Christmas cheer.

I hid ‘hind the throne
(Still in my nightgown)
When Santa with presents,
Through chimney, came down.

You know the story,
(He’s all about peace.)
When he started to leave,
I grabbed onto his fleece.

I’m good at hiding,
So I hid in his sleigh,
Touched his red coat,
And we both flew away.


His jacket was loaded
With magic elf dust.
I could feel it myself,
As the wind blew in gusts.

I made a great wish
To spread cheer through a song
That plays in my heart,
When my mom sings along.

Leaning over the back
Of his ginormous sleigh,
I reached out my hands
And started to play.

My fingers on make-believe
Piano keys.
Spread song through the air
Floating softly on breeze.

Now people will wake up
With song in their heart;
Reminding them that we are
God’s work of art.

They’ll remember the joy,
The caring, and love.
And bring peace to each other,
Just like the dove.
