Mexican Train Dominoes was introduced to the site in May! Be sure to check it out! There were a few hiccups when the new game clashed with older dominoes games, but Mecir has been hot on the trail and we think everything's fixed now. If you encounter any further issues, please post on the Bug Reports discussion board so we can take a look.

Game Of The Month

June's game of the month is Pocket Knight! Join us in a fun Double Elimination Tournament by signing up today for The Game of the Month - June 2020 - Pocket Knight Tournament!

In this variant of Chess, each player holds an additional knight at the start of the game, which they can place when they want, where they want, instead of moving a piece already on the board.

Club ~VS~ Club Tournament Of The Month

June's game of the month is Ludocrous! Join us in a fun League Style Tournament by signing your club up today in the The Site Wide Club vs Club Tournament Club, or send a team roster to PattyMac. The players must be a member of that club and not be signed to play for another club, and you can have 1 to 5 players on your team. Your club will get their very own "Club Tokens" for winning a tournament. Congrats to The Wolf Pack Club and The Duel Masters Club for winning in the Connect Six and Grabble Race. Only three tournaments left to finish for 2019. We will post those winners soon!

Best Recipe Contest

May's winner is: Scrumptious Strawberry Cheesecake Pancakes w/Fresh Strawberry Syrup

What Better Says Spring Than Fresh Strawberry?

Strawberry Syrup Ingredients:

3 c strawberries, diced
1 c sugar
1/4 tsp vanilla extract
2 tbsp lemon juice

Cheesecake Blender Ingredients:

8 oz cream cheese, softened
2 eggs
1 c vanilla Greek yogurt
1 tbsp lemon juice
1 tsp vanilla extract
1/4 c sugar
2 tbsp butter, softened
1 1/4 to 1 1/2 milk, depending on how thick you like it

Dry Ingredients:

2 c flour
2 tsp baking powder 1 tsp baking soda 1/2 tsp salt

Directions:
1) Combine strawberry syrup ingredients above. Cook in medium saucepan & bring to boil. Lower heat to gentle simmer & cook until strawberries are soft & syrup thickens & reduced to 1/2 volume, about 15 minutes. Syrup will thicken more upon standing. Add a little water, only if necessary.
2) While the syrup is simmering, add the Cheesecake Blender ingredients above into a blender and blend until smooth.
3) In lg bowl sift together dry ingredients above.
4) Then pour Cheesecake Blender mixture into dry ingredients & whisk together. But do not overmix, there should be small lumps.
5) Heat lg lightly greased skillet over med heat & pour pancake mixture onto pan & cook until bubbles appear on surface. Flip over & cook until browned on other side. 6) Top with the fresh Strawberry Syrup & serve with your favorite breakfast meat & enjoy!

It's June now, guys, who'd believe it? With summer coming upon us fast (unknown photo), here anyway, our players on the Pony Up! are collecting a lot of Pony Up! tokens in addition to golderos. Some of our contests are short and random and some of them take longer for viewers to vote on. There is T~~~~r~~~~i~~~~v~~~~i~~~~a, guessing games, Captions, Pictionary and other contests just waiting for your name to be included in the winner's 's list. We would like to say to Trusting for letting us step into their personal life for a bit.


1. What brought you to GoldToken, and how'd you choose your name for GT?

• I was playing scrabble with a friend in a different state and the site was closed down so we were looking for another place to play and found this site. My name Trusting is actually short for Trustinggod because I need to trust Him each and every day and it reminds me to do that.

2. What interests you most on GT? Do you have a favorite game?

• I learned to play backgammon on this site with that friend as we also played grabble. I have since branched out to some other games including shake, rattle and roll, cribbage, salvo, hangman and American Rummikub. I invited my sister here and we play games a lot which is fun. I also have made some friends here that I play with on a regular basis.

3. What state or country do you reside in? What do you think tourists should definitely see?

• I live in upstate New York. I say that because people assume if you say NY that you live in the city but I live north of Albany near the Adirondacks and it is a beautiful area. Lake George is a wonderful place for a summer vacation and there are many things to do on the lake as well as in the area to keep any active family busy.

4. What hobbies do you have?

• I like to do puzzles and have done a lot more of them this year due to the pandemic and being home so much. Usually it is a winter thing.

5. Children? Grandchildren?

• I have 2 children and 3 grandchildren as well as one that is due in June. I raise 2 of them 18 and 14 and they have been with me for 11 years. The other little guy is 3 and will be 4 in August. The baby to be born is a girl and cannot wait to welcome her to the family.

6. Do you work? what kind of work do/did you do?

• I am a retired special education teacher but I also score certification tests for teachers which means I read essays all day and I also supervise student teachers for a college in Albany. Both of those tasks are pretty much on a per diem basis so I can always say no. They both also stopped in March with the pandemic for now.

7. Any pets?

• I have 2 cats one is an orange cat whom we call Blitz because he runs around like crazy when he is in the mood. The other is a calico and is called Samurai or Sammy for short. They wake me up promptly at 6AM or earlier every morning.

8. Are you under 30?___ 30 to 50? ___ or over 50? Male or Female?

• I am a female over 50

9. What's the farthest you've been from home?

• Last summer my grandson and I took a missions trip to El Salvador which was probably not the farthest as I have traveled to California so that would be more miles but was big for me since I don't travel a lot.

10. If you could be anywhere right now, where would that be?

• Visiting my youngest grandson as I have not seen him since February.

11. Favorite season?

• Probably summer but I like spring and fall too but the lazy days of summer cannot be beat and we can do so many different activities.

12. Favorite movie? Favorite TV show?

• My favorite movie of all time is Fiddler on the Roof which I have also seen on stage 3 times. I watch HGTV primarily on TV and there are several shows I love there including ;;home1;; Home Town and Good Bones.

13. If you could meet anyone (living or dead) in the world, who would it be?

• I saw John Denver in a concert once (my first live concert) and was pretty close up but I would have loved to be able to meet him in person and have a chat. Loved his music and it was sad that he died so young.
