The idea of the game is to create a none stop run of carriages between your station cards.

It doesn't matter which path you take as long as the station names on the cards have a joining carriage.

It's simple enough with one card, but with multiple cards you should try and use the least amount of carriages to join all the station.

When drawing your station cards look at where the stations are on the map, if one card is not easy to link up with other cards, discard it...you can draw more later.

Once you have your first set of station cards, it's time to collect carriages.

You can select any two carriage cards that are face up or down cards.
or
You can pick up one engine face up card

To start creating your run, simply click on the track you want to take.
If you have enough carriage cards of the matching colour, the track is yours.

With grey tracks, you can use any colour carriage cards.

What are the engine cards for...these are wild cards and can be used if you don't have enough carriage cards to claim a track.

In 2 player games, once somebody claims a track, nobody else can use it.
In 3 or more player games, tracks with two coloured runs can be used.

If Grey track can be used with any color card..would'nt that be the way to go?

You still have to use the same colour carriage cards for the grey tracks, you can't use a mix of coloured carriage cards.

The issue with these is they can be taken easier that colour specific tracks, so can be used to block long runs so may be wise to claim these first
