Dipole is a very interesting game with simple rules. There is no random component to the game

Your goal is to be the last to move your pieces off the board.

You start with a stack of 12 pieces.

You can only keep on the black, so you can move diagonally forward any number of pieces,
moving backwards is only possible if you capture

If you move your stack 3, you will split your stack of 12, 9 stay where it is, and a stack of 3 will jump 3 in the direction you choose

you can extend the move off the board and your piece is removed

If your stack lands on an enemy stack of equal or smaller size it is captured. You can attaack backwards

Hint 1: Get used to the movement, try moving different options 1, 2 , 3 etc and then undo

Hint 2: moving 1 forward is slower than moving higher numbers

by moving 1, your score (how many moves before you fall off the board) reduces by 1, if you move 2 pieices, it will reduce by 4, 3 will reduce by 9 etc..

Hint 3: Do not move pieces off the board if you can help it, and do it 1 piece at a time unlessw you have a strong move

Hint 4: Becareful of your opponent capturing you

Check to see where your opponent can move, and try to avoid being captured. Even though sometimes
the opponent will suffer more by capturing you by moving many pieces forwards, they may force you to move forward to avoid being captured backwards

Hint 5: Capturing sideways or backwards is usually always good
you remove their pieces, and you increase your own score. But becareful that it doesnt weaken your own position
