H analysis method

This nugget is a lot simpler than the arcane title suggests.
The difficult part is finding a simple way to explain a simple idea.

When analysing a position I use a sheet of lined paper (I call this the 7H analysis method).
I write the Turn number "X" in the left margin; I then represent the board with 7 upright strokes cut in half by 1 horizontal one.
I then put a number in the cells to show the number of seeds in the corresponding pot (position).
I do not use 0 for empty pots, I just leave them blank. This shows the state of the board after Player 1's Turn X.

On the next line down I show the state of the board after Player 2's Turn "X".
If Player 2 has no legal move I leave the line empty.
On the next line I put Turn number "X+1" in the left margin.

If I were using a sheet of squared paper (the Long H analysis method), I would simply use two upright strokes and one horizontal to show the 12 squares I am using to represent the board.

If a capture is made I show the total seeds each player has in their collection pot after the move to either side of my diagram.

This nugget would be a lot simpler if I could think of a way to visually represent it, but I'm a bit tired and I just want to get the idea out there.
