You are correct. It is not. Farmers must have infiltrated the list. I am removing them from the list. We shall see who is more powerful, them or "mighty" me!

You have joined RabidWolff of the Wolf Pack for the honor of having achieved all of the Eagle-Eye Tokens. So no more will be forthcoming. CONGRATS!!

In game #14249684,
the single word "FARMERS" came up under the category "Proverbs and Sayings".
It is neither.

Studio 7 was a tv game show in 2004. Since we were unable to use numbers, I changed it to the word Seven. I did that in a few instances, but not many.

It was added to the list of corrections, but that only goes up for revision every 6 months or so, and any games started before the revision still uses the old list.

(#5581298) Re: Kickback Executioner Rules
Posted by Jools on 21 Feb 2024 at 8:28PM
My point was wrong guesses don't give any advantage to your opponent like other variants. The game is therefore flawed in that respect
(#5581064) Re: Kickback Executioner Rules
Posted by rabbitoid on 20 Feb 2024 at 10:20PM
Not quite. You can deduce the guesses that were correct, but not guesses which were wrong.

Posted by Jools on 20 Feb 2024 at 7:40PM
Not showing past letters is a bit daft too, as you can see them on the board.

Not sure if guessing a wrong word has any downside in this variant either, as wrong guesses affect both players
(#5580973) Re: Kickback Executioner Rules
Posted by Road Runner on 20 Feb 2024 at 1:14PM
You are correct. You not only share the board, you also share the incorrect guesses.

The "past moves" won't show you what letters your opponent picked, but you can see them on the letter board. You still can't see what words your opponent has guessed.
(#5580622) Kickback Executioner Rules
Posted by Jools on 19 Feb 2024 at 10:23AM
As I don't play hangman often this variant is new to me, so a check of the rules has got me totally confused.

This variant is similar to the main Hangman game, the difference is that all players share the same word and hangman, instead of each having their own copy.
OK that makes sense, but later on it says.

Each player has a hangman on his or her board. Each time the player makes a wrong guess, an addition is made to the picture. Once the entire picture has been completed, which happens after 11 incorrect guesses, the player loses the round and may not guess any more in that round. The player then needs to wait until the round has been finished.
This doesn't seem correct - don't think it applies to this variant

Players cannot see the guesses made by other players. They can, however, see the current status of the hangman of each player by clicking on the corresponding player name on the game board.
Nor does this as you can see your opponents guesses and the hangman is shared

(#5555560) Randy Trav?
Posted by Shannon D on 25 Nov 2023 at 9:03PM
Game # 14114647. The topic is musicians. The answer was Randy Trav, but I’m guessing this is a nickname for Randy Travis, the country singer? I tried to figure out who else could have been meant by this name and the only thing I could find was this used as an informal reference to Randy Travis.

Posted by Shannon D on 10 Nov 2023 at 7:34AM
I just completed a tournament puzzle of a food that is not spelled correctly. The answer was Seafood fra Diabolo, when in fact, the item should be Seafood fra Diavolo. This is something I believe I brought to the attention of the list keeper previously. Of course, I initially guessed incorrectly as it was a repeat puzzle for me that I believed had been corrected.

I find lots of references to "Studio Seven", but not much stand out as anything other than small local businesses. Hair salons, art studios, small clothing designers, that sort of thing. Nothing noteworthy.

I also found several IMBD (Internet Movie Database) entries for several TV series titled "Studio 7". None of them look like anything anybody might have actually seen.

I don't know what this is supposed to be. I can find references to Studioseven (one word), according to wikipedia "Studioseven Recordings was a Japanese record label" not a TV show.
