The Meijin Dojo Go Club

Meijin (名人), literally translated, means "Brilliant Man." It is the name of the second most prestigious Japanese Go Tournament, and also refers to a traditional Japanese title given to the strongest player of the day during the Edo period.

Dojo, literally "place of the Way." Also "place of enlightenment."

The aim of this club is to provide a friendly, interesting and educational atmosphere to allow participants to learn more about the game of Go and to help others along the path of learning.
