I was surprised at the things that people most associate with comfort food. When I think of comfort food, I think of things that are hot, savory and hearty. Some of you do, too. Animals don't understand the noises or flashes of light & can become so terrified that they crash into things in their panic as they flee. Abandoned offspring will then likely die of starvation. No amount of celebration can justify cruelty toward animals. 😢
