Posted by Oartkickel of the Wolf Pack on 3 Sep 2025 at 2:11PM ok... here we go. It all started in march of 24. I was having trouble breathing and passed out because of it. Went to emergency 4 times and they tried treatments for breathing. I finally wound up in the hospital in Petoskey and discovered it was my heart lacking oxygen and I needed a pace maker. they couldn't do one until Friday, this was previous Thursday, so I was shipped to Munson in Traverse City. Monday morning at 7 am I was wheeled into the operating room, laid there for an hour and a half while to doc was in the emergency room sewing up some people in involved in a knife fight. Finally went under and woke up 17 days later with breathing tubes in my mouth. I contracted pneumonia and died twice. When I finally woke up I thought I was in Alpena. A town on the other side of the state. finally got home and things were getting back to normal back in the hospital I went. first time I went, couldn't breathe. another week shot to hell. second time, I was at my doctors office and the nurse put me an exam room, took my vitals, and left. the door closed and I couldn't breathe. when the doc walked in I was almost on the floor and I had no color. my daughter was out in her car when the ambulance showed up after a fire truck and 5 cop cars. severe lack of oxygen caused it and another week in the hospital. If I keep this up I will owe them rent. (#5704774) Magic words of healing and wellness of strength

(#5703091) Re: Celiac disease gluten free
Posted by Brett smile on 4 Aug 2025 at 3:30PM School just only fix salads, greens and chicken or fish. Let the parent make there own children's lunch if they want process food and junk not the schools. Healthy or nothing at all solve that problem! LOL
(#5703089) Re: Celiac disease gluten free
Posted by Brett smile on 4 Aug 2025 at 3:22PM Not all food is created equal and what you said was important information. Some people are sensitive to flour and gluten than others. I like to stay with more protein than anything else!
(#5702746) Re: Celiac disease gluten free
Posted by foster007 on 2 Aug 2025 at 11:14PM yes sad the things wrong in cattle and livestock industry,, hopefully it gets better. i assume you are mentioning usa schools and other government places ? there are small groups and movement to get healthier foods in schools,, but the junk food marketing is powerful and cheap.. real food is more expensive and spoils faster sadly.. its up to parents and educators and governments to encourage and educate about healthier choices everywhere i think.
(#5702745) Re: Celiac disease gluten free
Posted by foster007 on 2 Aug 2025 at 11:11PM gluten free diet,, necessary for this auto immunie disease control is avoiding all gluten, wheat, rye barley and oats,.. these foods are fine for non celiacs, just celaic disease cannot deal with them and treat these foods as invaders and shuts down the villi in the small intestine and dont alow absorbing of other minerals and vitimsn,, so often kids or adults low in many vit and minerals might have undiagnosed celiac, simple blood test can see if one has it. i use potatoe and rice and corn instead of wheat based stuff,,... so pizza is made of cauliflower or corn crust etc
(#5702744) Re: Celiac disease gluten free
Posted by Brett smile on 2 Aug 2025 at 11:07PM What is celiac gluten free diet? I was trying to eat grass fed meat and ground beef. I dont like how they treat cows at the end of there life with cheap food and corn and small quarters to fatting them up before they slaughter them. Its inhuman and cruelty to animals. why I try to eat only 100 grass fed meat, eggs, milk. Free roaming chickens π. Healthy eating. Our children are fed junk food in schools and in prisons junk for prisoners. Our VA has junk for our veterans like myself. Our society is all about junk food and I quick made food hamburgers. Posted by foster007 on 28 Jul 2025 at 6:54PM If anybody would like to discuss celiac or gluten-free they can let me know I've been diagnosed 5 years ago and I'm strict celiac gluten-free diet for my health for doctor's orders. If you have a friend relative or family member that celiac or might have the symptoms let me know I can explain the testing and what the diet is or if you have to host a celiac person I can let you know what is safe for them to eat and not

Posted by Brett smile on 10 Jul 2025 at 1:33PM Your right its a personal privacy issue we have to honor and respect about every individual is different. If I was sick, you know about it for sure lol for prayer, support, and acceptance. Cancer is a bad monster along with a lot other illnesses and diseases that humans get and deal with for answers and healing! We can only eat right, exercise, sleep, reduce stress, take care our our body, mind, and soul in our own control nothing else but ask God for help and a miracle of healing! (#5698015) Re: Loss from someone dying here and cancer awareness
Posted by pepperbeach on 8 Jul 2025 at 9:45PM Brett some people don't want to announce to others they have cancer. It's part of their personal journey with cancer. I know several people on this site who have cancer but choose not to tell anyone. Cancer is everywhere and it's prevalent. There seems to be no end in site with this horrible disease but the awareness is out there. My point is.....there are some people who do hide their illnesses for whatever reason they do. We must accept their decision and hope for the best. I have lost a good friend on this site to cancer and had no idea they had it. It's just who they choose to tell. I hear your pain and I am sorry for your loss. (#5697996) Re: Loss from someone dying here and cancer awareness

Posted by LittleTree on 8 Jul 2025 at 2:30PM GoldToken has a graphic team and they do the banners. It is GoldToken who requests these banners after verification of someone who has passed and GoldToken puts them on the Golden Memorial Tokens. Posted by Brett smile on 8 Jul 2025 at 2:25PM Is this done by goldtoken or by another player from goldtoken?
(#5697926) Re: Loss from someone dying here and cancer awareness
Posted by Brett smile on 8 Jul 2025 at 2:09PM Not my loss only but goldtoken and everyone playing a game with her, her family and friends. No one is an island and we are all connected one way or another not by accident. Mental health is important, and I dont know why Dionne kept it silent why she was sick and playing games on here. Speak out and encourage someone sick and need support! Cancer is a big killer to us humans and need to fight it with a voice! Cancer awareness and Speak out for support no matter what! Be quiet about this isn't solving anything but giving up to Cancer and sickness! I will fight this because my mother had lung cancer to twice and still fighting it at 84 years old. God bless you heart. Dionne was only in her 40s! ![]() (#5697412) Re: Loss from someone dying here and cancer awareness

Posted by LittleTree on 5 Jul 2025 at 8:29PM Tributes are paid to those we have lost here on GoldToken, with the right side banners, on player's gamesheets. If you aren't able to see the banners, go to your "Preferences" under "My Account" (middle of your gamesheet, in the gold box) click and scroll down to "Gamesheet" on the right, click, scroll down and unclick "Disable right-panel gamesheet ads", scroll down, and click "Apply", then you will be able to see them on your gamesheet. Sometimes you have to refresh your page to see certain ones as they come up one at a time or with each click on your gamesheet. Also, you can see some here: Golden Memorial Tokens I am truly sorry for your loss of a good friend. (#5697218) Re: Loss from someone dying here and cancer awareness

(#5697188) Loss from someone dying here and cancer awareness
Posted by Brett smile on 5 Jul 2025 at 2:28PM Cancer awareness or illness isn't spoken enough and how to deal with it? We lost Lil red few months ago and another one went down from this website PRIMETIME OR Dionne. Dionne died 4th of july from stage 4 lung cancer. We lost Lil red from cancer too. I want people to tribute people here who got sick and move on to heaven. How can we tribute to them and be aware sickness and cancer can hit anyone at anytime time to even a family member. Its about awareness and lost how to deal with it and aware it happens to everyone one way or another. I'm grieving from Dionne passing away. Its ok to tell someone your sick and support each other in a healthy way. Rest in peace Dionne and Lil Red. |
