(#5262217) What did you learn from your Grandmother?
Posted by JanuarySnowAngel on 25 Jul 2021 at 7:27PM
Did your grandmother teach you any special "tricks" to sewing or any type of crafting? I wasn't fortunate enough to know my grandmothers. but my daughter spent a summer with my mom who taught her how to quilt. The special part about the quilt they made together was that each piece of fabric was from some family member's clothing. When my mom passed, my daughter spoke at her funeral on how the quilt "tied the family together" for life...and there after.
Would you share your sewing/crafting memories of your grandmother with us?
