when I lived in Manitowoc, Wis. I used to walk a 4 mile paper in the snow, when I finished that I would shovel snow for money . Had a tavern across the street from my house. They paid me $5 and choice of 3 candy bars . 20 plus yrs later I visited the city and the Tavern was still in business. So I went in to have a beer. Place was called Papa Joe's
