I always thought that was a good thing. One 'takes a knee' to show fealty to his sovereign, to be knighted, to purpose marriage, to pray. Has not a coach ever asked his team to 'huddle up and take a knee' when he wanted to say something? Does a chaplain ask that of solders when they receive his blessings? So, Mr. Kaepernick's actions leave me confused.

My husband died November 21, 2011 after 48 years, 1 week, 5 days, 18 hours, and 30 minutes of the most wonderful wedded bliss ever...I miss so very much!!!
I went to see St Germain --in the flesh!!! or so it was claimed...thought he was quite normal person. But still that it was neat.
It has been soooooo very hot here, it the 110-116 degrees range..whew!
Appraiser just left--this is the 4th one I've had to have...this time it's to see if I can get it reversed mortgaged in MY NAME...LOOOOOOOONNNNNNNNGGGGGGGGGGG story about that.
Going to Las Vegas next week...my sister is going to drive us there in her new car...her granddaughter is having a baby shower and she is renting a house so that the whole family can enjoy a swimming pool and a BIG house for about 4 days.

Just came to the final conclusion that I do not like malls...they are for "mall-walkers and a baby sitter for teenagers." I don't like having to park so far away from the store then having to walk a long way to the store itself...I usually only want one or two stores anyway. I get a bad haircut there and I can get one anywhere and don't have to walk so far to get it. I like parking in front of the store I want--a fast in and a fast out!
