Mr. Fat Take That…Monday July 23, 2007

Dear Diary,

The last two weeks the battle with Mr. Fat has become very entertaining for me.

Two weeks ago there were so many people living in the building (what with all the reinforcements that both sides brought in) that you couldn't move without tripping over someone. Neither side could gain any ground, so we had to declare the week a tie when the trash man came.

This week the maintenance man's group got pretty sneaky. They put up a flier about some party at the beach and fat and his friends fell for it hook, line and sinker. When they went to the beach the maintenance man's group moved four piles of fat's stuff out to the dumpster then moved the dumpster next door and traded with the lady who lives there (she is really cool and said they could). When fat and his buddies came back from the beach Determination and Willpower met them on the stoop and told fat he could come in but he could only bring one friend with him. Thus fat was pretty angry but he agreed and only brought in chaos. Stress, depression, holiday treats and the others who I can't remember all left without a word.

Well when fat got inside he noticed that some of his things were missing right away. Determination and chaos went at it again. Boy did it get loud in the building for awhile. But once again the maintenance man's team won out. The garbage man just came and the 4 piles went with him.

The Big Guy sure looks out after us. Well that's it for now diary. I'm off to other pursuits. Can't wait to see what happens next.

Good guys 4.5 – Mr. Fat 0…Monday August 6, 2007

Dear Diary,

What an awesome week we had this week. While Mr. Fat was sick the heart room crew moved out 4.5 piles of his stuff. He never even missed them. He had a cold or something like that so he stayed in his room the whole week. Of course Chaos noticed what was going on but Determination locked him in the basement so he couldn't run and tell Mr. Fat.

I think my body is finally beginning to see what a louse Fat is and may be joining the fight to evict him. Seriously, it is about time. Well the garbage man came this morning so me, the maintenance man and the rest of the group are going to celebrate the victory.

I wonder how long we can keep Chaos locked up in the basement?

Til next time.

Time to Get Back On Track…Tuesday, October 23, 2007

Dear Diary,

Well it has been an insane month and a half. I had a total war going on in the building. Ms. Body had decided that Mr. Fat was no good and was helping me with his eviction when he turned on the charm and she fell in love all over again. Then Mr. Fat really got going. He snuck all his friends into his room via the fire escape one night and they locked determination and willpower in the basement then put a lock on the heart room door while the maintenance man was in there. They cut the phone lines so we couldn't call for reinforcements.

Finally determination and willpower got out of the basement and released the maintenance man. Now all we gotta do is once again convince Ms. Body that Mr. Fat is really not who he is pretending to be.

I know we can get this back on track it just might take a week or two.

Hopefully next week will be better.

Back on Track Again…Friday, August 08, 2008

Well it has been awhile since I updated you about Ms. Body & Mr. Fat, so here we go.

If you remember back in October we were trying to get back on track because Ms. Body had fallen hard for Mr. Fat again. Well just as we were about to get that all straightened out Mr. Fat found a new ally in his friend layoff. Layoff came in and really rocked the building. He made emotions run high and had everyone heading for the kitchen more often. After we dealt with Layoff he brought in a friend called Relocation. Relocation came in and brought Depression back with him. It was a really bad time for everybody. Mr. Fat managed to move 20 piles of his stuff back into the building.

Then in March the maintenance man said "enough of this, this simply will not due." He brought in Trainer. Trainer has made a world or difference and over the last four months he has managed, to move out 16 piles of the stuff Mr. Fat snuck back in.

So now we are back on track and the people in the Heart Room are gearing up for one lonnnnnnnnnnnnng fight

New Year Same Old Fight…Thursday, January 29, 2009

Well the last few months have been very busy with the Trainer (Big D.) & then he brought the Lifesaver (Dr. C.) into the picture. It really got ugly there for awhile. Dr. C. & Big D were pushing Mr. Fat & he was pushing back. In the end the good guys were leading the fight and moved out 10.5 piles of Mr. Fat's stuff. Boy let me tell you he was really not happy about it. Ms. Body is still in love with Mr. Fat and doesn't want to let go easily, but she is learning that it is the right thing to do.

We will have to see what the next few months bring.

Til next time.

Here We Go Again…Tuesday, October 24, 2009

Well the fight in the apartment building went through some major changes. The Lifesaver got way too expensive to keep around so in his place we have brought in the Emotional Healer (Jill) and the Cheerleaders (Weight Watchers). With the addition of the emotional healer talking to Miss Body to help her find out why she was so attached to Mr. Fat and the cheerleaders to help Ms. Body be willing to move those piles out the door things seem to be on the right track. The garbage man just came and hauled away 5.2 piles of Mr. Fat’s stuff. Boy is he mad.

Things seem to be looking up.

New Year New Me…March 14, 2010

Dear Diary,

Well since I last updated you things with Ms. Body and Mr. Fat have settled into a routine. Some weeks the heart room wins some weeks they don’t. Mr. Fat got his friend depression to come back and bring with him bad weather which took the Trainer out of the picture for a while. Mr. Fat also brought in a new friend called migraines.

The cheerleaders and the emotional healer are doing an awesome job on their side. Mr. Fat convinced Ms. Body that he was sincere and that the people in the heart room were the ones that were lying. The war was certainly on.

All in all since the last time I wrote the heart room was able to move out a total of 17.8 piles of Mr. Fat’s stuff. He is way not happy about that but oh well. I think Ms. Body is finally coming around. I will write more often to keep you updated.

See you next time.

Let The Celebration Begin…March 16, 2010

Well this week the Cheerleaders had a lot to cheer about. The Trainer got back into the game and the team in the heart room was able to take out 2.2 piles of fat’s stuff. He tried to bring it back in but they all ganged up on him and made him leave it in the dumpster. Hopefully we can get rid of fat’s friend migraines real soon.

Till next time.

When Times get tough, The Tough go…snacking…March 23, 2010

Well Diary this week really didn’t go so well. Fat had his friend migraines over again then migraines brought in stress and schedule change, who brought in new meds. Everyone was so confused and no one from the heart room could figure out where or when anyone from fats side was up to anything. Fat managed to sneak 3 piles of his stuff back into the building.

New meds kept Ms. Body distracted by saying all the right things and showing her how much she loved Fat. When the guys from the heart room told her that it was a trick she said that they were just jealous because she loved fat more.

The guys in the heart room retreated to try and come up with another plan to show Ms. Body what a fraud Fat really is.

Tune in next time to see how they do.

Reinforcements Are Here…
originally written Monday July 9, 2007

Well now once I got the maintenance man into the action, Mr. Fat brought in more help for his side. Last week he had several friends over including but not limited too...stress, depression, chaos, holiday treats, and many others whose names slip my mind right now. Well the maintenance man jumped right in and brought over some friends of his own...mainly determination, compassion and willpower.

Quite the battle ensued and it got pretty dicey there for a while...piles of fat's belongings being hauled outside, and fat's team bringing them back in. A loud shouting match was held in the entryway as determination took on chaos in a battle of wills. The police were called and everything, not a pretty site.

But in the end the people living in the heart room won out and managed to remove 3 piles of fat's belongings this week and they drove it to the dump themselves so that fat couldn't bring it back in.

After the victory I walked by the heart room and heard them all talking about the victory and how they could have never done it without the Big Guy. I'll have to agree and say that fat is certainly in trouble now.

Wonder what next week will bring.

Enlist Help When Bombing Out…

orginally written Monday June 25, 2007

Dear Diary,

Well this past week it has been really tough to be a landlord. I kept tripping over the piles that fat keeps laying around. Then on Tuesday his relative, laziness came for a visit and brought a friend named stress. It was total chaos. I would lug a pile of his belongings (and they are very heavy you know) out to the dumpster and one of the three of them would bring it back, then add more to it. By Wednesday afternoon I was at wits end. That's when I finally got smart and got some help (I figured if fat could have some so could I). I hired a maintenance man. He is really good and amazingly enough already lives on the property in a room that was named the heart when I was given the building many years ago so I just never changed it, besides “that room with the beat” just didn't sound right.

Anyhoo,

So Thursday morning we started out together and kicked out laziness and stress. Then over the next few days we managed to move (didn't seem so heavy with help) 2.4 piles worth of fat's stuff to the dumpster, and the garbage man just came and took them away. You know what, fat never even missed them.

We will have to see what this next week will bring...stay tuned

Meet Ms. Body & Mr. Fat
A couple of years ago I started a blog wherein I introduced people to Ms. Body & Mr. Fat. I think I'm going to post that here now I'll start with the previous entries then go from there.

I Finally Figured It out…written Monday June 18, 2007

I am having trouble losing weight because my body and fat have been hanging around each other for too long. Awhile ago they met and became friends, after that they decided to move in, become roommates and eventually fell in love. Because they got along and didn't cause any problems I, as the landlord, didn't do anything to split them up. Now that they have lived together for more years than I can count I want to evict fat because well, to be frank, he is just a royal pain. He is a total mess and leaves unsightly piles everywhere. My problem is my body loves him and doesn't want him to leave. What is a landlord to do?

Here is the solution that I have come up with...I'm going to start moving his belongings out one pile at a time and by the time he misses them I'm hoping that the garbage man will have come and picked them up and taken them to the dump so they will be gone forever. I figure that if I do this long enough he will get mad and just leave. This just has to work. I will keep you updated as to progress of eviction.
