Want to thank the Lord for how He has been with me while I quit smoking cold turkey.
On 7/11/11 around 11pm I smoked my last cigarette. It's been a mixed bag of emotions.

It's sorta upsetting the reason I have to quit is because I just can not afford them any longer.
I have to look at that as a very good blessing I guess because giving them up we can now afford to stay were we are. I thank the Lord for that.

God has been with us so much and I never not want to give Him is due and full praise because without Him we would be nothing and have nothing. He is so good to my husband and me. Oh I can't thank and praise the Lord enough for the things we have and the relationship we have with Him and each other.

I Love You Lord!!!

Thanks Lord for bringing me 14 days without a cig. I pray I keep going with Your help.
Thanks for those in my life that has helped me.

Well here it is almost 3 years later and Thank God I'm still not smoking. Thanks Lord!!

We have lived over a year now in our new area.
The Lord has always seen us thru many new things and we are really starting to feel at home now.
I thank the Lord for His many, many blessings.

On August 27, 2010 Philly and I were stuck in an elevator for a little over a hour.
It was something to remember.
God was with us and we got out with no trouble.

It was amazing the feelings and things you think about as you stand there wondering if and when you will get out. Philly was so great and just stood there and smiled. He told me later he almost cried when we were finally out. That was so touching. He said he thinks it was just that feeling of relief of being out. You would have never know it was a problem while we were in there.

God was so good about it because the owner of the resturant was in there with us. I'm so thankful she was stuck with us because I probably would have flipped out. She was so great.

It was something I never want to go thru again but it is something we will always remember.

Thanks Lord for bringing us out of the elevator.

With our move and everything God has seen us thru.

It's hard to believe that it has been almost 7 months since we moved.
Things are going well.
It's so neat to see God's hand in our everyday lifes.

God's has been with us the whole time.
The place we found and how we found it.

It's only 2 miles for hubby's job. We moved because he had to travel so far. 
When I was on the phone with the landlord before we saw our place and he told
us where it was located I got tears in my eyes. It was closer then we could
of asked. 
When we looked at the place then... It was more then we could have asked for. 
The landlord left us bring our cat also. 
It's just so awesome that words can't fully express how greatful we are. 

Phil's job has given him overtime and we could really use it.

It has been sorta crazy the hours he has worked but we thank God that He knows 
what we need. It just amazes us how God looks out for us. 

Thanks Lord for how you look out for us and even in the little things.

With the winter here it's so easy to get down and depressed.

I am so thankful the what God has given me and have to remember those things.

Thanks God for so much!!

Lord,
I thank You for all Your blessings.
I pray You be with all the change that is taking place with our world.
Be with us and let us look to You for all things.
I thank You Lord for the way You will work all things to Your good.

Things are like going so fast in today's world.
There are so many things to grab us that need our attention.
I strife to keep God 1st and let Him guide me in all areas.

Bloging is a neat idea.

It gives others a look at what is important in your life and what life is like in your world.

My life is like most others...

Sometimes things come along that really rocks my world and I have no idea how I'll make it and then it always works out well.

I thank the Lord for the many blessing in my life and without Him I would be nothing.
He has given me so much to bless my life.
