The Author In Me I'm a writer at heart and hope to be published one day. It might be a long shot but it's what I love doing and even if I don't end up getting published I'm still going to write. I enjoy writing all different kinds of poetry, quotes, short and long stories and am thinking of writing my own song but I guess I'll see how that goes. They offer listings for publishers seeking new writing in all sorts of genres: poems, short stories, general. Many that do pay offer small amounts, and many offer only contribution copies. It is, however, an excellent way to start building a profile for published articles/poems/stories. They are on the pricey side, but your local library may have past ones to look at, to give you an idea. Best of luck, and keep writing!
