As this year comes to an end, I can't help but to reflect on how much my life has changed this year. I became quite ill with pneumonia in October and I had to make a difficult decision. As my family is gone and friends are too far away, I decided to give up my apartment and move into a nursing home. This will be my last stop. Thank God my mind is intact. It's the body that's coming apart. And as long as my phone works, I'll be here as often as I can.
