another Poem my daughter wrote
After an hour


I wish I knew this person.
Although I knew them once.
After an hour I took a shower and then I remembered I knew.
That person I wish I knew and remembered I already knew forgot who I was.
So I sat upon a rock and cried only one tear.
I thought of someone I know I knew, and didn't cry no more.
After an hour I took a shower and remembered their number I knew.
I smiled a relif of smile then dialed the number of the one I remembered.
We talked a long talk, then after an hour I took a shower and forgot that someone I knew.

I have no idea what she was thinking when she wrote this, but I like
kinda reminds me of me at times Smiling
this was wrote some years ago, now Eva is married with a baby boy, and she seems to not forget to much any more Smiling

Life goes on when things get rough
When a friend dies or a stepdad passes away
There will always be another day
We all cry and have our own issues
We all want to scream, yell, and fuss
We can''t let pain have the best of us
That dry sharp pain in the back of the throat
The empty stomach and flowing tear drops
All come with the moment that makes the world stop
Life goes on when you''re totally lost
Life goes on no matter what it costs.

WOW, that hit home. Brought tears to my eye's. Reminded me of losing Glenn and how my granddaughter must of felt since she really loved her grandpa (step gr'pa)
