Planes loaded for transport
Blue and white plane is a DC3 that was used for the Queens visit to Australia 1960's.
White 845 is a Gruman Tracker Naval plane. Flys off aircraft carrier. On about 3 left in world.
Can see the bush in background coming back after the January 2020 fires.
One of the trackers got burnt to the ground in the fires.
Wings transported separately.

Planes going to https://hars.org.au/ where I volunteer.
HARS is a plane museum. they rescue old planes, put them back together and make them flight worthy if possible.

NICE! I love such pieces of History being preserved. The DC3 was one the best, most reliable air transports for over 50 years. Many made, few remain airworthy.

The other airplane I'm less familiar with, but know I've heard about them. So awesome they are going to a museum, especially one that will restore them to flight status if possible.

Great historical aircraft! That DC-3 looks like it's about to slide off the flatbed. Frightened

Very cool! Did you just happen upon them or are you part of the crew moving them?

Re: Planes loaded for transport
I am part of the team.
Spent days here and there over last 6 months getting them ready.
Spent a 2 days loading them with forklift and cranes.
2 days moving them.

The Tracker (white) has now had the wings and tail back on it.
The DC3 (blue) now has engines.
