2016 Fall Leaves: Part 1
The particulars of a red maple's fall foliage changes from year-to-year. For this year, this red maple developed many more red leaves than normal and it held onto it's leaves longer into October. As of writing this, it still remains to be seen how long before this tree will drop all it's leaves. I think, though, the maple trees around me normally have dropped their leaves by the first snow but there's a nearby Japanese maple tree that normally holds onto it's leaves a little later.
