He was only 5 years old. We found him dead, no marks on him. Not sure if he had been hit by a car or if it was poison or something else.

I'm so sorry, KiwiSad Our neighbors lost a cat this weekend, too. It is so hard, and yes, this one looked so healthy!!!

I've considered very carefully how I would reply, given that I just took My Tris to the Vet today for Her Yearly Physical/ 3 year rabies/distemper shots......
And, have no clue how Old My Baby is, only what the ASPCA Shelter I adopted Her from said.....They said She was 3 two years ago..
Just as Importantly, I've been Owned by Cats (and other pets) all of MY Life.

I DO Feel Your Loss. As does any Pet Lover. Know This. You made His Life as wonderful as You could. If You happen to see any other pets acting odd, check out why. If not, You've done all that You possibly could.
