AS A CHILD I ALSO WALKED CHICAGO's RAVENSWOOD AVE. ELEVATED TRACKS!

IT WAS COOL AS THERE WAS ALSO AN UNGUARDED FREIGHT YARD JUST SOUTH OF
BRYN MAWR AVENUE.
Stood next to a RR shed next to tracks as a Streamliner came by
at high speed one time, wind almost sucked me into train.
Learned my lesson well.
Those tracks were a cool place to collect fools gold!
Somehow the track gravel had it in some of its rocks..

A long time Bochum and Hoevel grew together. It then became Bockum-Hoevel.
