All pen and ink with a touch of oils for the browns, yellow and green. Called oil Roughing , my first one using a touch of oils

Brilliant! My wife does painting as well, though she only started about 2 or 3 years ago. I do mosaics instead, but it's all in the same "classroom" - a redundant shed in Paphos, Cyprus! See http://goldtoken.com/games/album?pid=3664;album=747

Very nice! Love the flower pots too. Irene's picture of the house you once lived in was very good too also her flower with colored pencils. fun hobby thanks for sharing

Our house is one of Irene's very first ones, before that, it was just practicing cones, squares and so on. Irene, the one who, at age 65, said "I couldn't draw" is talented as well. Our friends are very good at both painting and mosaics, said that he could teach her to paint "properly", in 12 weeks - and he did!

Can you also do portraits of humans that you recognise, babies for instance are very hard to draw. Irene still cannot!

Try animals first, at least THEY are, if not exact, at least they look better! But please, don't commission a baby, yet - unless it's your own!
