i like this very much !! especially the white dots as a subtle background, changing from negative in the middle to positive on the outer part of that grid. (not the perimeter).
do you use a computer to preview your ideas or just plain sketches on paper ?

I sometimes use a computer, but this one I did rough in pencil, then more accurate in pencil. then I drew it with carbon paper on a board, just the outline, not coloured. then it was comparatively easy to tile mosaic.
