This is Mabry's Mill on the Blue Ridge Parkway..they have all kinds of festivities in the summer here and the Restaurant is famous for it's Buckwheat Pancakes ... this is a Fall picture of the Mill...

You get on Blue Ridge Parkway near the Poor Farmers Market is all i know to tell you lol i don't remember road numbers

Nice place to visit and casual dining rest. there also. It's between mi. marker 170 & 180 Headed south it's on the left. Nice gift shop there also.

What state. I know it started in North Carolina or it did last time I was there and it went into Virgina.

It's in Virginia. The Blue Ridge Pkwy. runs North and South. Front Royal at the northern end and the Great Smokey Mountains National Pk. and the Cherokee Reservation. in North Carolina at it's southern end. The Blue Ridre Pkwy. extends 469 miles along the crest of the southern Appalanchian and links two eastern national parks, Shanenandoh and the great Smoky Mountians. It's a very busy road to travel durning the summer mos. when schools are out. Springtime and mid September on are best for driving. It's closed in the winter mos. An Awesome drive with many pull off locations along the way for viewing.

Thank you. I drove the Blue Ridge Pkwy back in the mid-80's and it seem to be a new road at the time. It was a very nice drive but I was only on it in North Carolina.
