Your privacy is and always has been important to us! Yes, GoldToken does use cookies. When you login, you receive a cookie that tells our database who you are. It's called a 'login cookie'. That way we know it is you (vs someone else) playing your games and commenting on the boards. That's all it does. We're testing a change to the Whist game and its variants (Spades, Hearts, Eureka) over at our beta server at http://beta.goldtoken.com - in new games, whenever someone times out or resigns, the ongoing round is restarted.
The goal of the change is to eliminate the various gameplay issues that arise when a player times out - shooting the moon becoming infeasible and so on.
As the title suggests, this is an experimental change. It may turn out that the change causes more problems than it solves, or there may be technical issues ... which is why we're testing this on the beta. If you'd like to help out, feel free to start some games over there and try things out.

Italian Chicken Casserole
Ingredients
1 1/4 pound skinless chicken breast halves
2 cups Prego - Fresh Mushroom Italian Sauce
1/2 cup shredded Mozzarella cheese
2 tbsp grated Parmesan cheese
Spaghetti cooked and drained
Directions
Place Chicken in a shallow baking dish and top with sauce. Mix the Mozzarella and Parmesan cheese and sprinkle over top of the Chicken. Bake at 400 F for 25 to 30 minutes until cheese is melted or Chicken is cooked through. Serve with Spaghetti.

Lorraine of the Renegades for letting us step into her personal life for a bit.
1. What brought you to GoldToken?
What bought me to GoldToken was my dear friend ellieoop. We use to play games at IYT and she kept telling me about GoldToken. I don’t even know if IYT even exists anymore.
How'd you choose your name for GT?
Well, Lorraine is my name and the first club that I belonged to was called The Renegades Gaming Club. Adding the club name to our name was our version of a #hashtag. The Renegades Gaming Club was started by Phoenix. It was and still remains my favorite club. I had so much fun working in that club with Phoenix. We challenged other clubs and the only way to keep scores was to write it down and compare notes. This was way before the wiki days. Although it saddens me, I had to disband the club because I work too many hours to keep it running properly. The person that helped me run it was "Mcinturf". She tried to come back to GoldToken last year but trouble with her hands and other ailments prevents her from doing a lot of typing. Although I still call and chat with her, I miss her being here.
2. Favorite game here?
My favorite game here is 
zero G 
. This game is so challenging. It is a brainy game. It is the only game that I care about ratings in and don’t want anyone to beat me. Suffice it to say what I want does not matter because I get beat up a lot in this game. 
is a favorite of mine also. I self-taught myself a few years ago and needless to say, I did not do a good job. I still love it and I own two chess boards which I never put up.
3. What state or country do you reside in?
I moved to New York when I was 18 years old. I was born in South Carolina. If I could put the south into New York, I would be in one perfectly happy place. I cannot choose between the two as to which is my favorite place. 
4. What hobbies do you have?
My hobbies are endless. I love gardening 
, surfing the net 
, twitter, logic crossword puzzles 
, playing words with friends, playing bingo, reading Sue Grafton collection of books. She is my favorite author. She writes mystery books that are named after the letters of the alphabet. She has written books from (A to Y). I have read half of the alphabets. She recently died so we will never see the last book from the alphabet which she had already named, Z is for Zero. Her daughter posted that the alphabet now ends with Y. Two of the books that I own from her are autographed.
5. Children? Grandchildren?
I have one son 
and one daughter 
but no grandkids.
6. Do you work? What kind of work do/did you do?
I have been working on my job for over 40 years. I worked in the World Trade Center for 18 years. I work for a company that builds all over the world.
It is endless work and a ton of overtime. I sometimes have to stay in a company paid hotel 2 nights a week because my commute is over 60 miles each way from my home. 
7. Any pets?
No pets

8. Are you under 30?___ 30 to 50? ___ or over 50?
I am a female

9. What's the farthest you've been from home?
The farthest I've been from home is on a cruise. We cruise every year. This year we will be cruising to Bermuda. 
10. If you could be anywhere right now, where would that be?
I don’t like traveling so there is nothing like being where I am right now. 
11. Favorite season?
I like winter, minus the snow 
. The colder the weather the better. I firmly believe that cold weather fights germs. 
12. Favorite movie?
I don’t have one favorite movie. I have several. Silence of the Lambs, Pretty Woman, Shawshank Redemption, A Few Good Men and The Titanic stands out. When I walk into a room and Shawshank Redemption, or A Few Good Men is on the TV, I immediately stop what I am doing and watch it.
Actor?
Tom Cruise leads my list of actors. Morgan Freeman's voice is iconic.
Actress?
I am a huge Katherine Hepburn, Demi Moore, Julia Roberts and Jodie Foster fan.
TV?
Survivor is my all-time favorite TV show. It started in 2000 and I have watched every episode. My recent favorites are Scandal, Grey's Anatomy and This is Us. I have watched every episode of these shows also. Day time soaps: General Hospital, Young and the Restless and Bold and Beautiful are taped every single day. I rarely can get my DVR below 150 hours of recorded shows that I am watching.
13. If you could meet anyone (living and dead) in the world. Who would it be?
There is no company that I would enjoy more than a conversation with Jesus.

I joined GoldToken January, 2001, when
Chad was the site owner. I had been playing chess at IYT and found GT while searching for new game sites on Google. Today I only play exclusively on GT largely for the wide variety of games it provides but also for the family friendly atmosphere the site is renowned for.
I don’t play much chess these days but I enjoy playing backgammon, chessgi, shogi and most word games.
I’d like to thank
Chad for creating GT,
Badger and
Mecir for developing the site into the high standard it is today and finally all the helpers and contributors who work tirelessly in the background to make this place a pleasure to spend some time and to play a game or two.
