Greetings everyone! Welcome to our final newsletter of the 2006 year! As the months quickly fly by, we can already find ourselves crossing off days in the final month of the year, December! This month is always exceptionally important and special for many people around the entire world. As the year starts to wind down and everyone is celebrating their cherished and special occasions with family and friends, we would just like to take this moment to wish all of you a very Merry Christmas as well as a Happy Hanukkah, Bodhi Day, Eid-ul-Adha and Kwanzaa! GoldToken Support and our entire staff, want to thank all of you for being a part of our site and for becoming a special addition to our extended family! A big high five and thumbs up go to the programming of our newest game creations that arrived last month! GoldDots, with it's variations of MiniDots and Small GoldDots, along with Rock Paper Scissors have been a successful hit among us here in GoldToken Land! Be sure to stay tuned for the arrival of more new game additions to our site, as you just never know when one of them will pop up! IMPORTANT NOTICE: Due to child endangerment, GoldToken Support has had to create a new rule pertaining to any online social networking services such as, but are not limited to; MySpace, Yahoo360 and YouTube. Sites containing personal spaces, blogs or video along these lines will no longer be allowed to be posted or advertised anywhere in GoldToken. This means; profiles, discussion boards or wikis, containing these types of links will need to be removed. While Management realizes it may seem unfair to some players, we have found it extremely necessary to enforce this rule due to safety reasons. These types of sites, attract many under-age kids who want to be part of the "scene", but due to the extreme dangers that are involved with sites like these, it is in the best interest of all children playing here, not be exposed to these types of links or sites. It is imperative that all children are as protected as they can be while playing online. Police and educators have found it necessary to hold classes and seminars about these types of personal spaces, and similar venues, warning parents and children that child predators are at work at such sites. These sites contain very personal information and is readily available to anyone of any nature. Not only do these online social networking services put many children at serious risk every day, but the links also expose many other inappropriate text, forums, photos or videos connected to one space alone. These additional links definitely do not meet GoldToken's policies or rule guidelines for it's family based site. Players who have these types of social personal web site links created and listed on their profiles, or somewhere else in GoldToken, are asked to please remove them right away. She is also taking contributions of player stories, club news, remembrance, favorite recipes, pictures, and poetry. You have your choice of a professionally bound soft cover book, CD or DVD. Please note: Bound copies will only be available between now and the end of December, but the CD and DVD will be available for a few months into 2007. The gift giving season is well underway here at GoldToken. If you are planning on sending something special from the GoldToken Store, now is the time to ensure your gift can be received before the 25th. The Olympics give a chance for the world's nations to set aside their differences and have fun. We have a brotherhood here at GoldToken not found anywhere else online. And our GoldToken Olympics are much the same when the world's finest gamers from countries all around the world gather to play. A world of fun playing games in a unified challenge. If there's one thing more important in the GoldToken Olympics than winning, it's remembering why we're here in the first place. There have been a few instances brought to Abuse Manager's attention lately involving tournament play that require we remind everyone of Tournament play etiquette and policy. In several tournament rounds recently players have resigned games when there was still a fairly reasonable chance that they could have still won the game, albeit with some lucky rolls but certainly not out of the realm of possibility. One game for example was a backgammon game where one player had cleared off 6 stones and the other only 1, and were just a couple of doubles would have easily put the downside player right back in the game. The player resigned however. This caused the winning player to advance to the next round alone. A loss would have thrown the tournament into a tie and other players would have advanced to the next round. This was not really fair to the others in the round who were rooting for the leader too lose a game. Point being, that for fair play and to make the tournaments fun for everyone, we would really like to see you play out games as long as there is still a chance of winning while playing in tournament match play. Please try to keep this in mind if you are a tournament player. On another note, please remember that you must get management permission to offer or accept a draw during match play in site sponsored tournaments. Thank you 39289
 A GOLDTOKEN ROMANCE! When Badger asked me if I would like to write an article on how my husband and I met, I jumped at the chance to let everyone know, and also to say how much I like GoldToken. It is my favorite game site. Sir Silver of the GoldTable was using the name "Airborne" when we met on line. I was fascinated by the name, so I invited him to play a game. I thought he was a military man. I was a military woman in the States, and I thought we would have some good stories to tell about our experiences. As it turned out, it was his cat's name. It had taken a flying leap off a 6th floor balcony, hence the name Airborne. We started talking using the games' message boxes, and found out we had similar values. I was a widow of almost two years at that time, and was going through some serious bouts of depression. Just talking to him helped me, and one night he asked if he could call me, so I gave him my phone number. Sir Silver was single and was lonely for female company, and when he called me the first time I knew that he was the man I wanted for my soul mate! I was working then and had to be at work at 6 a.m.; this was in Florida. There were times when he would call me around midnight and we would talk until around 4 or 4:30 and then I would have to get ready for work at six. We had so much in common that we decided we should meet. Sir Silver said he would come to Florida. He firmly believed it was the guy's place to go to the gal, and not the other way around. He had sent me a picture of himself by e-mail, but I couldn't send him one. I was using Web-TV back then, and didn't have a way to send one. So--he got into his trusty Oldsmobile and drove over 1300 miles in three days - from Toronto to Lakeland, Florida to see me. We got along from the first day we met, which was March 3, 2002. He stayed in Florida for three weeks, during which time he proposed to me and bought my rings. We got married on July 1, 2002 [Canada Day] in his daughter's back yard. His sister, who is a minister, married us and I asked his oldest daughter to be my Matron of Honor. Thanks to GoldToken, I have found my soul mate, my love, my life. Lady Silver

If you read the boards on a regular basis, you'll notice that every now and again for the past 6 months or so, you'll see some Random Trivia questions appear on different discussion boards all over GoldToken. If you would like to win a GoldToken then all you have to do is be the first player to post the correct answer, and as long as you haven't won in that particular month already, a could be winging its way to you! A friend had asked me to come play some games with her here on GoldToken. It wasn't long and others were inviting me to games, some had to teach me games I never played, and we would chat. I feel welcome here. Then GoldToken offered the "join the Guest Club with a free 60 day silver membership". I decided to join so I could see more of the site and play more games. I was having so much fun, but due to health problems and not working right now I couldn't afford to join and my time as a silver member was running out. I was  but then a member stepped forward and I guess you can say adopted me (can I call them mom or dad now?), they gave me another 6 month membership.  I decided to join a couple clubs. One of them is The Gammon Addicts Club . I am having a blast in that club, the games never end, one finishes and another starts right away. Everyone I have played with in that club has been great. Sondra is the club owner. She asked me if I'd like to be club vice president. Wow, more fun! ... I also belong to { Club }, { Club } , The SweetHeart's Club and { Club } now!GoldToken, from what I have seen runs a clean site, and I want to thank them for that.
