Look at your opponents moves

Some people have accused me of being psychic but in truth you can gain a huge advantage in this game by looking at your opponents board (use the click to toggle next to players name underneath your hangman picture)

you can see the following things - Duplicate letters
- Blank Guesses
- Correct guesses

Duplicate letters are the key, as they lead to very narrow possibilities of what the word is

At the end of each word, you can see what order your opponent guessed letters.. it might be
e ? a r o ? t where the ? was a miss so you can't really be sure

you can then observe whether they follow a similar pattern or not for subsequant words

Most people are going to guess common letters first, as common letters will help them solve it
so the first guesses of most people are likely to be from the most common letter list

That helps me knowing things. The first guess of someone is unlikely to be a q or z or k as it doesn't help them at all..

An example... if you have guessed T in a 4 letter word so your puzzle looks like T - - -
and you see one oppoment has guessed letter 3 & 4 as duplicate letters but no one has guessed the 2nd letter after several guesses, then e and a are probably not the second letter, so you would likely be looking at just 4 words are probable (many more are possible) thee toll till toss
based on your knowledge from past words, you can probably see that the person who guessed the double likes to guess consonants but usually not s, then I would be very likely to be guessing toll.

Once you get into people's psychology, reading their boards makes you seem clairvoyant
