We are pleased to announce the availability of a new Chess variant - Recycle Chess!

Recycle Chess is similar to classic Chess, with these changes:

• Players may capture their own pieces and have them in-hand to drop later in the games. (The same restrictions exist for dropping pieces as in chessgi).
• Opponent pieces that are captured are removed from the board and no longer participate in the game (as in classic chess).
• There is no promotion of pawns. When a pawn reaches the 8th rank, it disappears from the game.
