Customizable Player Profiles

Several improvements have been made to player profiles:

  • Profiles are two-column now, with some information moved to the side column
  • Players with Gold or Platinum memberships can now configure their player profile - you can specify what will be displayed in the sidebar and what will go to the main section, as well as the ordering of sections
  • Players with Gold and Platinum memberships can also load a profile background, which will appear behind he profile information
  • Don't have a Gold+ membership! Not a problem! All players with Wood membership or higher can pick one of the pre-loaded images. Some are already available, with more to come!
  • Once you have configured your profile, that's how other players will see it, including your chosen background picture and color scheme
  • Gold and Platinum members can override this if they wish, and view all profiles using their own settings if they want to

The information listed on player profiles has also been adjusted:

  • Current game list only displays a summary if it's placed in the sidebar
  • The rating list also displays only a summary if placed to the sidebar instead of the main panel
  • Placing the comment list into the main panel also displays the actual comments. In the sidebar, you only get the count and a link to click for more
  • Placing the blog section into the main panel (instead of the sidebar, which is the default) automatically displays the last blog post of the player, if any
  • The album section displays your latest photos - the last one if in the sidebar, last three in the main panel

Profile settings are available in the Preferences, images can be uploaded directly from your profile page.

But wait, there is more! Do you particularly like some player, or their profile? Now you can show your support by voting for them! This option is available in the profile of each player, in the sidebar. You can also give a negative vote if you do not like the profile or a player - but we hope that this isn't something that you'd want to use very often.

The summary of votes is visible to everyone, other than that, voting is completely anonymous, players do not see who voted for or against them. Once you have voted for or against a player, you cannot give that player another vote for 6 months.

Enjoy! Smiling
