We have just released several new features and improvements:

If you like Backgammon and the Head-To-Head mode, I am happy to announce that our Head-To-Head playing now supports all single-point Backgammon games. Enjoy !

Please note that Backgammon will be played slightly differently now - instead of clicking on the desired dice, followed by clicking on the piece you want to move, you now click directly on the piece and, if it has multiple movement options, on the desired target square. This is in effect even for games that are not played in Head-To-Head mode. You can disable this functionality in "View graphics" for non-HTH games, should you want to.

Players of Xiphias will find that newly started games now have an improved position generator, and they can also pick their desired position from a list of three offered ones.

We also have a new variant of Xiphias available, called Xiphiasyn, which adds an interesting twist to the game - the playing board is mostly concealed, except for the planets owned by the player and those directly adjacent, so you will never know where your opponents may be hiding.

Our blog support has seen several improvements also. Most importantly, blogs are now available to all membership levels starting from Wood. Blogs now have an improved layout, players can post comments to what you wrote (blog owners can disable comments if they wish), and you can also subscribe to your favourite blogs, if you want to be notified about new entries in the blog. Furthermore, bloggers can now add polls to their blogs.

I have also done some layouting improvements and the usual bug fixes.

Enjoy !
