Shamrock Shake Pie Ingredients: 12 graham crackers 2 tablespoons brown sugar ½ cup butter, melted 2½ cups milk, cold ¼ teaspoon green food coloring 2 teaspoons mint extract 5.1 ounces box of instant vanilla pudding mix 8 ounces container of whipped topping, thawed Directions: Grease a 9-inch pie dish with butter or shortening and set it aside. Place the graham crackers and brown sugar in a food processor and blend until the graham crackers become fine crumbs. While the food processor runs at low speed, gradually pour in the melted butter until the crumbs start to stick together. Firmly press the crumbs into the bottom and up the sides of the pie dish, and place it in the freezer for 15-20 minutes, or until the crust is firm. While the crust is freezing, whisk the milk, green food coloring, and mint extract in a large bowl until the food coloring is distributed evenly and the milk is green. Add the vanilla pudding mix, and continue whisking until the pudding starts to thicken. Let the pudding rest for about 5 minutes to thicken up more. Fold the whipped topping into the pudding until it is well mixed, then spoon the pie filling into the crust, and smooth out the top of the pie. Place the pie in the freezer for at least 6 hours or until the filling is completely set. Top with whipped cream and maraschino cherries, if desired, and serve cold. Posted by PattyMac on 29 Jan 2024 at 5:03PM Here they are,,, 1.Bundt Lemon Cake3 cups sifted unbleached all-purpose flour 2 teaspoons baking powder 1/2 teaspoon salt 8 ounces (2 sticks) unsalted butter 2 cups sugar 4 large eggs 1 cup milk Finely grated zest of 2 large lemons Glaze 1/3 cup lemon juice 2/3 cup sugar Adjust an oven rack one-third up from the bottom of oven. Preheat the oven to 350°F. Butter a plain or fancy tube pan with an 11- to 12-cup capacity and dust it lightly with fine, dry bread crumbs. Sift together flour, baking powder, and salt and set aside. In large bowl of electric mixer, beat the butter to soften it a bit. Add the sugar and beat for 2 to 3 minutes. Beat in the eggs individually, scraping the bowl as necessary with a rubber spatula to keep mixture smooth. On lowest speed, alternately add the dry ingredients in three additions and the milk in two additions, scraping the bowl with the rubber spatula as necessary and beating only until incorporated after each addition. Remove the bowl from the mixer. Stir in lemon zest. Turn the batter into prepared pan. Level top by rotating pan briskly back and forth. Bake for 1 hour and 5 to 10 minutes, until a cake tester comes out dry. Let cake stand in the pan for about 5 minutes and then cover with a rack and invert. Place over a large piece of aluminum foil or wax paper. The glaze should be used immediately after it is mixed: Stir the lemon juice and sugar together and brush all over the hot cake until absorbed. Let cake cool completely. Use two wide metal pancake turners or a cookie sheet to transfer it to a cake plate. Do not cut for at least several hours. Best to make on New Years Eve. 2. Peel and slice enough apples to fill a pie plate 2/3 full. Sprinkle the apples in the pie plate with cinnamon to taste. In a separate microwave safe bowl, melt 1 ½ sticks butter and cool, so you don’t cook the egg. Add in 1 egg 1 cup flour 1 cup sugar ½ cup of chopped nuts (pecans or walnuts) but this is optional Mix then spoon and spread this mixture over the apples and bake for 30 minutes** or until a knife comes out cleanly and the apples are soft. Serve with vanilla ice cream or whipped cream. Refrigerate leftovers. My oven runs cooler, so it took almost 45 minutes for our “pie” to be done. My sister’s took 60 minutes. Any kind of apples has worked for me. Kind of nice to use a few leftover apples. You don’t grease the pan, you don’t add leavening, etc. I know that this seems like an odd recipe and if you are a traditional apple pie person, it won’t fit the bill, but it is a quick and easy version of apple pie and we really like it. I can’t remember the name of the person on Facebook that demonstrated it, but she has been making it for 20 years. **Lover of Darkness** egg nog pie 2 3.4 oz packages of vanilla instant pudding cheesecake flavor works well also 1 1/4 cup eggnog Do not use fat free, you want a thick eggnog 1/3 cup whole milk 1/2 tsp nutmeg 1 cup Whipped Topping Cool Whip is perfect 1 standard size graham cracker pie crust Beat pudding mix with eggnog, milk and nutmeg for two minutes. Posted by hoof hearted on 17 Dec 2023 at 5:31PM Go to nearest grocery store and pick up these ingredients: Your favorite pie Whipping cream in a can Directions: shake can vigorously, then spread whipping cream over top of pie and serve. It's the easiest Christmas pie you'll ever serve. 😂 (#5562440) Easiest Apple Pie
Posted by Gilbertei on 17 Dec 2023 at 2:13PM Preheat oven to 350°.
(#5562438) Re: Contest Entry

Remove from heat and add the crushed pineapple (juice and all), whole berry cranberry sauce, cranberry juice, and your choice of nuts to the Jell-O mixture. Reserve a small amount of the nuts to sprinkle on top. Mix well. Pour into a 9x13" glass baking dish and refrigerate until firm, about 2 hours. For a lump-free cream cheese topping, first cream together the cream cheese and sugar with a hand mixer until light and fluffy. Then add the sour cream and whip until smooth. When the cranberry jello mixture is firm, spread the cream cheese topping over the top. Garnish with additional chopped toasted walnuts or pecans. Refrigerate for about an hour to allow the topping to firm up. (#5551656) Sweet Bread Sticks by JanuarySnowAngel

Refrigerate for about 10 minutes or until set. Fold the cool whip into the pudding until well combined. Refrigerate for at least 20 minutes to chill the mixture. While the pudding is chilling, place the Oreos in a food processor or blender until the cookies are crushed until fine (or put in a plastic baggie and beat to crush) To assemble the cups: Fill up cups with the pudding mixture approximately 1/3 of the way full. Top with a small amount of the crushed Oreos. Repeat these layers in all of the cups ending with the crushed cookies on top. Write RIP (or Boo or whatever you'd like) on the top of the Milano cookies with the black icing. Place them into each cup to resemble tombstones and then decorate with the gummy worms and candy pumpkins, you can add a ghost peep or replace the Milano cookie with the ghost peep instead. Decorate as you wish and let your imagination go wild. A plastic spider ring inserted on top might be a way to go as well. Enjoy! (#5546228) Pumpkin Cupcakes by Gilbertei

Of course, at Halloween, I make a spider sprawled on top using half an olive for the body and cut legs from some of the olives. It’s a pain in the neck, but impressive when served Ingredients:
Directions: 1. Cut eggs in half, putting the yolks in a bowl and the whites on an egg platter 2. Using a pastry blender, get the yolks into a coarse mixture 3. Add the mayo, mustard, onions, relish and seasonings, mix well 4. Fold in the bacon bits, avocado or any of the add-ins & fill the white halves 5. Scoop mixture into egg halves, then decorate with black olive spiders. Cut 1 olive in half; use half to make the body, then cut the other half into several legs 5. Make your favorite tomato sauce. Mix into a casserole dish top with the yellow cheddar cheese. Bake until the cheese is melted. Remove from oven. Shredded some mozzarella saving some in the block. Put the shredded cheese on top like a skull. In the eye holes add chopped tomatoes and sliced green olives to look like eyes. Cut some cheese into teeth. In the mouth add some chopped tomatoes for a tongue add black chopped olives then add the teeth. Sprinkle some sugar to the skull then lightly use the torch to melt the cheese the sugar will brown adding depth. Do not fully melt the teeth just enough to glue them down. You will end up with two skulls on the pasta. (#5542148) Re: Blood and guts
