I have rode a few. The soot is hard to handle if one is too close! My job at Norfolk Southern is to teach individuals to operate Locomtives. But again, these are Diesel powered

We had these trains with steam engines coming thru my home town. I remember the first electric train. That was really something.

This was at Melton Mowbray station in the UK. We did a three hour trip with a lunch included . It was very good.

Very interesting Sally thanks for the link. I am sure that Wahoos understands the internal workings much better than I do. I am glad it got out of the Scrapyard and restored to working order. (no wi-fi, lol) I bet you had a good time taking that trip with your hubby.
